A cool, experimental idea: connect beat reporters with an online circle of stakeholders joined by modern net-based social-networking tools. In this scenario, the "new" "Web2.0" model of information distribution doesn't kill old-school journalism but reinvigorates it.

Site layout emphasizes social timelines and displaying everyone's data together. Clearly the founders want to build strong community.

Author's comment: Theoretically, my work focuses on social learning systems.I am trying to understand the connection between knowledge, community, learning, and identity.
