POPSIs social media an illusion? What i get out of social media is access to information and ideas that i otherwise wouldn't find myself. Quite honestly, my social media attention is primarily allocated to Clipmarks and Amplify because these two sites provide the type of experience i'm looking for - the abilty to understand the world better by seeing it through other people's eyes. I genuinely believe i am a smarter, more well rounded person because i've had the opportunity to see what other people are reading and what they have to say about it.

POPSPresident Obama influencing elections in Middle East Talk about a man with a plan - it seems that Obama is attempting to defeat Hezbolla and other anti-American organizations not with threats or the use of weapons but by disarming people's venom towards the U.S. through diplomacy. By holding himself out as someone who will listen and work with the Arab world, he is completely neutralizing the main rallying cry for these organizations. Should this work (and initial signs show that it may), the consequences are truly world changing.
