POPSHold on There! That's My VW Bus! I think... My goodness. Not only is this a great story, I'd like to know what they used for a title before this happened. But, the funniest thing to me is that stinky Spokane WA ever had a World's fair hosted there. That is the biggest laugh, 1974 someone was pretty stoned to think that one up eh?

POPS Cops in a Wii Bit of Trouble Your Tax dollars at work. A detective cataloging evidence repeatedly put down her work to bowl. When she hit two strikes in a row, she raised her arms above her head, jumping and kicking. Kind of makes me wonder if all the drugs were categorized or taken home along with some of that stolen property. Ha ha on you Police jerks.

POPS 5 Star Jail in Austria
Please excuse the rough translation from German to English (freeware version). In Leoben this system was very compactly implemented, whereby most important organizational and formative criterion was the optimization of the residence quality for employees and passengers. Life circumstances were created, which concerning the apartment, work and leisure situation the everyday life in freedom to resemble and Resozialisierungsmaßnahmen at best redundant make. The detention units are angelesgt like group houses, in which in each case are accommodated up to fifteen persons. Each Einhiceit has tea kitchen, sanitary block, gymnastic and lounge as well as a loggia, which extend the internal freedom of movement by the dimension „in the free of stepping “. Work and leisure facilities are so put on that they can be visited by the passengers unaccompanied and independently. The employees relieve and bend a complete incapacitating forwards. POPSThe Faces of Meth Many of you have probably seen this. We here in Oregon certainly have. It is a little old now, but effects of this poison remain the same. I have been told by a Deputy, that new ones are to be added next year. If you have friends or relatives who think that this won't happen to them, PLEASE assure them that It CAN & WILL ! The one gal who had been doing it over 15 years has been living on borrowed time. Most Meth users have a life expectancy of 5 years.

POPSJust for Drinking a Beer At least they're going to use a smaller cane this time, and not just because it is a woman offender, but a very strict government ruled by the religious community. This is one more reason to love America. Keep the church where it belongs, and out of government and law enforcement! The woman said in an interview, that she accepts the caning, because "I want to respect the law". Well then why did she go to a public place and drink in front of everyone? From the sound of things, maybe this hotel had a reputation for breaking the rules, and she thought she was in a safe place. Since the article said she was caught in a "raid" on the place. The reason this is newsworthy is that she is the first woman to actually be caned for this. A giant step backward. Amnesty International condemned the sentence and many critics stated that this might harm Malaysia's reputation for being a moderate Muslim majority country.

POPSSon, Get Me a Hooker I love the fact that this idiot is still in the can, with only a $750 bail ticket. Nothing was mentioned about the boy's mother.

POPSDangerous Mind Sounds like a case of "Munchhausen's Syndrome to me. She is truly a very sick woman.I hope that she gets the help she really needs and that the infant goes to a better home. No info on the father, I can only assume.

POPSDumb Dad's Day #3 Don't try to fool the cops. They're not as dumb as they may look. Especially on a kidnapping charge, because the FBI will get involved.

POPSCoke in Her "coochy" This is one of the highest blogged articles this week. I guess a lot of folks just don't realize how much contraband goes into people's private parts. My sadness is that this "child" of just eighteen is so far into drugs already. THAT is the real meat of the story as I see it. So young and pretty, and such a mess. Very sad indeed.

POPSLaw Says Lighters are a Child Endangerment This is in the category of "Legislation for your own good". Why make a law to not sell something that is/was already legal? Why not just put responsibility on the owner of the lighter, or make it a law to keep it in your pocket or purse? What happened to the constitutional rights of citizens? Remember Life Liberty and the pursuit of happiness? Some of these items are collectibles as well. I am just so fed up with this petty legislation. When I here how backlogged the Oregon Legislature is all of the time, it really gets my blood boiling to think of what are they really doing down there in Salem? We have some real issues to deal with here. And don't smokers have enough to deal with, without telling us what we can or cannot light up with? Good grief! If you have kids, keep your guns, hand grenades, matches, machetes, firecrackers, and lighters away from them. Thank You.

POPSI'm Too Drunk Well, I don't see entrapment here either. The fact that the boy was on private property when he chose to pass out (sleep it off) is his unfortunate choice. I wasn't there so I don't know how it all went down with the cops and all, but when he was arrested I sure do wonder why his age didn't come up. Good Lawyers are nice to have, I reckon.
