I have almost 20 years experience as a university or institutional laboratory animal veterinarian. I have worked at two of the largest AAALAC accredited animal care programs (UC Davis and The Ohio State) and at many other institutions including Stanford, UC Santa Barbara, and Ross U College of Medicine. I have also consulted for private industry, rehab shelters and sanctuaries. I have taught all levels and in many research or academic many environments. I am comfortable in complex surgical situations, with primates or aquatics. I have been project manager for constructions of 3 animal facilities and consulted on others.
