POPSJobs plan will 'jump-start' hiring, Obama says Why not just give people a hundred bucks to send you a letter attesting that you created a job for them, same difference, you blow the money with nothing in return. This guy should really paint on his clown face when he's this funny. How is giving away taxpayer money to people who caulk their homes going to create jobs you moron?

POPSThe Scandal That Never Happened The importance of the truth can't be overstated, especially in the world of science and particularly with the climate summit at Copenhagen set for next week. To wit, the IPCC study blaming humans for global warming will be the basis for discussions among world leaders on how best to handicap developed industrial economies. The scientists involved in writing that report are the same ones implicated by the scandalous e-mails, leading us to conclude that much of the report -- and therefore the efforts of the world's political leaders -- is based upon lies.

POPS64% of Americans are … un-American? Two-thirds of Americans disagree with Lord Obama - and that makes us un-American? By believing terrorists should be tried in military courts we are given yet another label, along with racists and radicals we are now un-American as well. One more disagreement and we may make it to traitor!

POPSBarbara Boxer’s ClimateGate Meltdown Pay no attention to the clowns behind the curtain who lied to the world, instead let's beat the hell outta the guy who exposed them! Boxer herself should be investigated - for impersonating a US Senator.

POPS95 year old vet - letter to Obama " We're no longer a Christian nation" " America is arrogant" - (Your wife even announced to the world,"America is mean- spirited. " Please tell her to try preaching that nonsense to 23 generations of our war dead buried all over the globe who died for no other reason than to free a whole lot of strangers from tyranny and hopelessness.) I'd say shame on the both of you, but I don't think you like America, nor do I see an ounce of gratefulness in anything you do, for the obvious gifts this country has given you. To be without shame or gratefulness is a dangerous thing for a man sitting in the White House.

POPSClimagegate - Harry Read Me “The processes in the IPCC are so robust, so inclusive, that even if an author or two has a particular bias it is completely unlikely that bias will find its way into the IPCC report,” he said. What absolute bunk! From the very beginning of the global warming story we’ve seen example after example which confirms how the UN climate panel process has been corrupted. The hacked emails simply confirm what we have known all along. This isn’t about science, it’s about money and power.

POPSCode Pinko - just what is it you really want? Just saw Medea Benjamin on Fox denouncing Obama for sending troops and calling for congress to defund Afghanistan war. It is so painful to listen to these hypocrites. Benjamin is a cofounder of both CODEPINK and the international human rights organization Global Exchange went to Afghanistan in Oct this year and she was told by the women of Afghanistan they needed the troops to stay, they were fearful if the troops pulled out. Code Pinko did not like what they heard from the Afghan women. They were hoping they would say it's OK if we are killed, if we can be used as cannon fodder for Code Pink. Bunch of spineless A-holes who believe no war is ever justified. They should be exiled to Iran for a few years, to live as some of the oppressed people they claim to be for.

POPSCopenhagen a chance for climate reform What is really disappointing is that supposedly intelligent people still refuse to see global warming, climate change or whatever they are calling it today - is simply a hoax. These scholarly individuals who take up for these so called neutral scientists simply refuse to admit they have been hoodwinked - it is all a lie but they overlook manufactured data, statements from the very experts they protect and just carry on as nothing has happened. Academia is suffering in the credibility department.

POPSHow to fix health care..if you really want to! How about opening up the insurance industry to some competition by doing away with the anti-trust exemption which would allow the capitalists among them to sell insurance across state lines?? How about limiting the coverage for elective medical procedures, like nose jobs, breast enhancements and the like and, yes, abortions?? People who want their insurance to cover elective procedures should have the ability to add that to their basic coverage as an "extra" (for an additional out of pocket non-deductible premium). Obama & Congress could care less about really fixing the problem, Obama simply needs a victory....any kind of victory. If they did they would not shy away from tackling the major obstacles, tort reform, allowing the purchase of polices across state lines and cracking down on fraud associated with health-care.

POPSObama's decision to possibly make a decision, possibly.. The risible projection of Obama as a commanding military leader, while attractive to the sycophantic, navel-gazing press, contrasted mightily with his simultaneously fawned-over persona of a pensive, cerebral man of the world. It is mighty hard to imagine George S. Patton hemming and hawing as if he were lecturing at an academic symposium before issuing his decision to make a decision to increase troops and "finish the job." Further muddying the waters is Obama's self-serving pronouncement that the military strategy in Afghanistan under Bush lacked clear vision, sufficient manpower, ample resources, and was carried out "with not enough urgency." This would be more apt criticism if it were not issued by a president ostensibly gauging the number of troops to be sent based on polling rather than in accordance with the requests for additional troops from top commander in Afghanistan General Stanley McChrystal.

POPS...the religion of peace becomes questionable Unfortunately at this moment in history, it is fanatics who set the tone in Islamic countries. Their impact on ordinary citizens manifests openly with the mass celebrations in Islamic countries when "infidels" are killed, or Muslim terrorists are released from prison. It is fanatics from the Muslim world who slaughter children and non-Muslim tribal groups daily in Darfur, and are progressively taking over segments of Africa, be it Nigeria or Somalia. Islamic fanatics bomb, behead, murder, and carry out "honor" killings. They also stone rape victims and homosexuals. Muslim fanatics teach in the schools the virtues of becoming suicide bombers and acquiring the coveted status of a shahid (martyr).

POPSSympathy, Please, for White House Czars Holdren can’t help it, of course; he wants power, our money, and lots of authority to do us down socialist-style to satisfy his ego. What do you say? That he really believes in that nonsense? Now. Come friends. Don’t get him wrong. It is true that he doesn’t really believe in green issues, but only wants what they can give him personally – cars, cash and kudos; but hey, what else should a specious and fallacious expert do? Like other Obama-ites, he is gaining ground on us lesser mortals simply by saying ridiculous things. I’m sure that if we clued-up we could be just as stupid. Remember (TCSDaily interview, 2003) Holdren famously betrayed his lack of scientific credibility by saying that the scientific ‘burden of proof’ changes with time (you know, like global ice-age freezing changes to global warming changes to climate change, and so on, all without proof or explanation. Seems he might be right!).

POPSgrowing the new branch of government
At least the New York Times actually reported Holder's Congressional thumping. Pay ACORN, the defiant DOJ hack admonishes. Now DOJ has authority over Congress. Representatives Wolf and Smith have sent numerous requests to Holder asking for documentation of his Black Panther dismissal. Rep. Issa has demanded an explanation of Kevin Johnson's predatory sexual behaviors with underage Americorp students, not to mention his squandering of $400,000 on personal expenses like chauffeuring and dry cleaning. Jennifer Rubin's latest Weekly Standard report details the US Civil Rights Commission investigation into the Black Panther dismissal. Yup. You guessed it. No response from Holder or the DOJ. Finally, the White House czars have been reported in the alternative media, and given the obligatory nod in the msm. However, Breitbart's expose on the National Endowment for the Arts has been politely ignored. So expect to see those armies of taxpayer funded artists creating propaganda whene

POPSWill ACORN Lose Its Tax Exempt Status?
As we have noted several times before, most recently back on February 23, 2009, as a 501c3 “charity” ACORN is prohibited by the IRS from breaking the law – or even encouraging others to break the law: J. ACTIVITIES THAT ARE ILLEGAL OR CONTRARY TO PUBLIC POLICY (1) Substantiality Test Violation of constitutionally valid laws is inconsistent with exemption under IRC 501(c)(3). As a matter of trust law, one of the main sources of the general law of charity, planned activities that violate laws are not in furtherance of a charitable purpose. "A trust cannot be created for a purpose which is illegal. The purpose is illegal … if the trust tends to induce the commission of crime or if the accomplishment of the purpose is otherwise against public policy…. Where a policy is articulated in a statute making certain conduct a criminal offense, then …, a trust is illegal if its performance involves such criminal conduct, or if it tends to encourage such conduct." POPSACORN's goal: put the Democrats in charge The WH & Congress should be criminally liable for ACORN yet they continue to allow this corrupt organization to fester. How the hell can a taxpayer supported organization be so openly politically biased and continue to hold a tax exempt status? How can the so-called media be so blinded to avoid reporting on it? Because...They have bought themselves a privileged position with the Democrats and this administration. They have nothing to fear. Because the WH and Congress are just as crooked as ACORN. Obama's administration is about as transparent as a blind man strolling on a moonless night without a cane or dog. It's enough to make an honest person want to revolt, or puke, or both.

POPSSo, how low will this President go?
These bows are not according to protocol, they are excessive and unbecoming to our nation's leader. When he engages in such inappropriate behavior, he embarasses himself and his nation. However, don’t take my word for it, listen to the analysis of diplomatic etiquette expert Lyudmila Bloch: “When President Obama recently greeted Japanese Emperor Akihito with a deep bow (at almost 90 degrees), and a handshake at the same time, those gestures were over the top and spoke loudly of diplomatic inexperience and poor briefing by his aides.” “Two individuals of equal rank greet each other in the same way. Did you see the Emperor bowing from his waist down and stretching to reach Obama’s hand? No. The keywords are appropriate and subtle. The bow must demonstrate a delicate balance between respect, proper protocol, and appreciation for the Japanese tradition concerning age and rank.” “Submissive, excessive, emotional, or dramatic gestures like President Obama’s may be interpreted as naïve,

POPSReagan's Moral Clarity In 1982, when the United States was mired in its worst recession since World War II, President Reagan defied the pessimism of the day and predicted that “the march of freedom and democracy will leave Marxism-Leninism on the ash-heap of history as it has left other tyrannies which stifle the freedom and muzzle the self-expression of the people.” Roughly a year later, he called the Soviet Union what it so obviously was: an “evil empire.” The “evil empire” speech drew criticism from many of Reagan’s domestic political opponents, and it greatly angered the Kremlin. But it also galvanized Soviet dissidents, who were encouraged that a U.S. president had been bold enough to denounce the moral bankruptcy of communism.

POPSCommunism: the Ponzi scheme of ideologies Leszek Kolakowski, one of the most articulate critics of Marxism, said "the lie is the immortal soul of communism." Marxist leaders depended on lying to their subjects, to the outside world and especially to themselves. Communism became a paradise for amateurs, political bosses who believed in their own ill-formed knowledge and discovered that the threat of prisons and firing squads conveyed legitimacy on whatever crazy ideas they uttered. Eduard Shevardnadze, Soviet foreign minister under Gorbachev (and later the president of Georgia), took the events of 1989 quite calmly. He had known all along that the system had to collapse and people like him would lose their jobs. "Our empire was doomed," he told his chief advisor. "But we did not think it would come so soon."

POPSDisarming the Velvet Revolution I felt sick to my stomach. But then, communism in any country did not enhance people's characters. It deformed them. Everybody tried to survive as best as they could, sometimes compromising their own values and dignity. I do not know how that person feels today. Perhaps there is even shame and regret. When I look back I do not regret being born in a communist country. Yes, we were deprived of freedom and many other things. But it was an intense life experience which taught me to appreciate what I have later in my life. I also feel privileged that I lived through and participated in some of the most important and exciting historical events of the 20th century. The only regret I have is that my father indeed did not live to experience it. He died of cancer in 1982.

POPSAmerica’s enemy within the gates Look at our military. We don’t win wars anymore. As a friend of mine pointed out just the other day, we don’t even know HOW to fight an offensive war anymore. We used to win wars through attrition. We would kill the enemy as quickly and efficiently, as possible, until there were not enough of the enemy left to wage war, or they had not the means to wage war, or — they lost the will to wage war. Now we have lawyers on the battlefield and in the command and control centers. They direct when and where the bombs will fall, and who and how many will be killed, which enemy strongholds we can fire upon, etc. We must be politically correct so the rest of the world will love us! I’ve got news for you! A vast portion of the world hates us, and that is not about to change as long as the USA exists — so DEAL WITH IT!

POPSA Silver Lining to Storms of Sorrow About 15 years ago, I hitched a ride to a national security briefing in Thomasville, Georgia, with a fellow I had only recently met. He had just retired as an Army officer after Desert Storm, and we were serving in a reserve capacity with a civilian agency. It was a five-hour drive, which gave us time to become well acquainted, and I am grateful for every minute of that trip. His name is Don Rodgers, and he is one of those people who has never met a stranger. Good story - click on link to read

POPSWell....so what if Bush had done that?
Of course it's hard to draw any kind of comparisons when speaking about the war in Afghanistan, because George W. Bush knew how to act as Commander In Chief when it came to making decisions about what his hand-picked generals were requesting. Barack Obama on the other hand doesn't know how to act as Commander In Chief when it comes to commanding the military. There is no way to forget the daily shellacking that George W. Bush took during his entire presidency. On some days and on some issues it could get pretty horrific. The far-left fringe were relentless in their attacks and the media just fell right in line with them....and anyone was just plain dumb if they didn't believe what they were saying. George W. Bush couldn't smile without there being an ulterior motive behind it. Bush was so many things, from dumb and lazy, to a liar and conniver and even believed to be a criminal at times. No one would dream of calling Obama any kind of name....except maybe socialist. Which in some ci

POPSResponding to modern Marxism Every single Democrat in the current majority, including Barack Obama, swore an oath to "preserve, protect and defend" the Constitution. Yet, they absolutely ignore the limitation of power set forth in Article 1, Section 8 of the Constitution. None of the 17 powers enumerated there authorizes the current health-care bills or the cap-and-trade bill, or the bailout, or the stimulus package – all recently passed by the House of Representatives. When asked by a reporter to identify the constitutional authority for the current health-care bills, Sen. Patrick Leahy said: "We have plenty of authority, why would you say we don't have authority?" Speaker Nancy Pelosi's reply to the same question was: "Are you serious? Are you serious?" Obviously, neither one is "preserving, protecting or defending" the Constitution when they ignore its limitation of congressional power.

POPSRachel Maddow Takes On Pete Hoekstra MADDOW: Why is it Pete Hoekstra who's taking it upon himself to tell the press that this radical cleric is having his email read by U.S. intelligence agencies? Well MadCow - because the media bows to Obama and reports only the "oh he's such a sweet guy" kind of stories - do not expect everyone to goose-step right behind you. Typical far-left attitude though - attack the messenger instead of the facts. Hasan is a home grown Islamic Terrorist - who murdered 13 on US soil while masquerading as a US Soldier. He did it in true Islamic form shouting Allah's praise prior to opening fire. My question is - why the hell don't pukes like yourself quit trying to cover up facts and try reporting them for a change, that is if you can stop your Obama idolizing long enough.
