POPSTen cognitive distortions that mess you up David Burns is a pioneer in popularizing the cognitive-behavioral approach to mood therapy developed by Aaron Beck. As someone who has struggled on and off with crippling depression my whole life, I have found this list of "cognitive distortions" pretty useful in reframing certain elements of my thinking.

POPSEssential add on for Firefox 2.0 If you have Firefox 2.0 and run a lot of tabs (like I do) this is an ESSENTIAL add on. As the name would suggest it gives you a list of Tabs in a sidebar, but beyond this it gives you a small image of the web page on each tab to make it easier to keep track of what you have open. Brilliant.

POPSUCB A strange and wonderful show - more performance art than comedy.

POPSAmerican Gods - By Neil Gaiman I Just finished listening/reading "American Gods" by Neil Gaiman. It's a solid book that reminded me a little of Clive Barker Weaveworld of Imajica with the blending of mythological themes and ideas into a real world setting. Barkers vision is decidedly darker and more erotic - but Gaiman has a more educated grasp of mythology. He obviously did his homework on this one. The linked site is a reference to all the places and Gods that he references in the book. Really only relevant if you are reading it planning to read it.
