POPSBorn 1920-1979? Congratulations...
No one was able to reach us all day.And we were OK. We would spend hours building our go-carts out of scraps and then ride down the hill, only to find out we forgot the brakes After running into the bushes a few times, we learned to solve the problem. We did not have Playstations, Nintendo's, X-boxes, no video games at all, no 150 channels on cable, no video movies or DVD's, no surround-sound or CD's, no cell phones, no personal computer! s, no Internet or chat rooms....... WE HAD FRIENDS and we went outside and found them! We fell out of trees, got cut, broke bones and teeth and there were no lawsuits from these accidents. We ate worms and mud pies made from dirt, and the worms did not live in us forever. We were given BB guns for our 10th birthdays, made up games with sticks and tennis balls and, although we were told it would happen, we did not poke out very many eyes. POPSThe Wii whips the competition From the moment I heard Shigeru Miyamoto describe the concept behind the Wii (then codenamed Revolution) I knew they'd have a hit on their hands if they got it right. I got mine last Christmas, and they're still selling so fast Nintendo can't keep them on shelves - it's an amazing system, and they're redefining the whole market by creating a new class of "casual gamers". My parents, in-laws, and even my grandmother have played and love the Wii.

"The Game Developers Conference is a place for developers to learn from one another, and I think it is safe to say that every member of the community has at one time or another fantasized about having Shigeru Miyamoto as a mentor and teacher," said Jamil Moledina, Executive Director of the GDC. "By guiding us through his creative vision with a keynote at this year's GDC, Miyamoto is allowing all attendees this incomparable privilege....

POPSChristian Group Preps To Attack Wii At first I was irritated... but then i read the last paragraph: So the solution lies in parents getting the facts and then talking to their children about expectations for online activity. Foster believes that, "Whether it is the home computer or these new gaming consoles, porn is easily accessible. The Wii is an amazing console and tons of fun but parents need good info on how to keep kids safe." I still think it is a bit of an extreme/fear mongering way to get the message of that last paragraph across...
