POPSFatal Storm in Wisconsin Well, we don't get hurricanes and we don't get earthquakes but that dosn't mean we don't get our fair share of natural disasters.

POPSanother pricelss pic of the kids I came across this and I had to post it. This is definitely one of our favorites. This was taken when we lived in florida and were packing to move back to wisconsin. It was winter in wi so we had my mom buy them some winter cloth's and send them down. They found the hat's and decided to pose for another priceless pic.

POPSBeer battered fish I have my own recipe that is very close to this, and it is really good as this one would be. I've fried walleye, catfish, bluegill, and even venison and it always tastes awesome. If you want to make your own tarter sauce, just chop up some dill pickles into tiny pieces and mix it with a half and half mixture of mayo and ranch dressing (my favorite tarter sauce).

POPSMan offers no apology for shootings in Wisconsin woods I wish they would come up with a better way to deal with people like this. I feel like life in prison just isn't enough. I say, lock him in a room with no lights, strapped to a bed, and feed him through a tube. To me, that would be the ultimate punishment.

POPSBlastomycosis outbreak prompts action This was the headline on our local paper today. We heard about the girl dieing last month, but it is quickly becoming a huge problem. This is very scary for us considering there are 10+ active cases in a town of 9000 people.

POPSOPENING OF GUN-DEER SEASON I never could shoot a living animal, but it's amazing how many people around here do. One day everything is normal, the next, all you see is blaze orange everywhere. Not complaining, just stating an interesting fact of living here in wisconsin. Besides, I love to eat the meat! Might sound weird, but try killing a cow and then eating it.

POPSThey may be closing the grade school I went to This really sucks. There was a great aura around these schools. It was almost like a family. Most of my teachers were also the teachers of my parents and other family members. Anybody that went to that school could probably walk in there today and be recognized by 90% of the staff. Now with these consolidated schools and overcrowding of students, the teachers spend all there time controlling all the extra students instead of teaching them. Thanks A lot Bush!!
