     I don't get it--- why can't she just donate her million REGARDLESS of how much is already donated??? Maybe by her making such a loud statement, others will follow her lead...

     I have to say...i think the gap giving Half their proceeds is great-- but lame that apple is participating in this 'red' campaign and only giving $10/ipod to charity....yet, they'll have this new 'red' ipod insinuatinng that they are making this gigantic statement...maybe i'm wrong..just seems like not enough

     I don't have high hopes for this-- can't Mr. Cosby talk to his other wealthy friends and do this themselves? I think calling on ALL American's to donate $8 is ridiculously unrealistic.

     ah.. to be THIS rich..i'd like to see where else his dollars are going-- i understand his passion for film-- but i wonder in a time when the world is in such bad shape, if he's donating these dollars to any other worthy causes.

     I know some might think this movie is a bit cheesy--but i was at a charity event this weekend and this movie was screened- it was so fun! The dancing was awesome, and the cast had great chemistry. For all you that still have a soft spot for all those OC types of shows -- but with some real talent-- check this out!

     i think what he's doing for awareness in africa is amazing.. i don't know why, but he just rubbs me the wrong way.. and he's actions are so impressive but i don't know.. .something about him seems so not geniune

     i suppose they are giving the public what they want... a glipse of this baby megastar.. and in doing so, they'll continue to support a worthy cause which has not been disclosed yet. Better it be done this way then them being bombarded everywhere they go. It sure would be nice if the paparazzi respects this opportunity by giving this couple and their newborn a little space.

     Somebody help me out here...are people actually making money off this film? Or are all proceeds going to a 9/11 charity? I'm feeling a bit weird regarding this film...OK, so Tribeca film festival will premier this movie (first) and then a day later be the proud festival to premier Mission Impossible 3? Seems a bit...i don't know....simply 'not OK' to me

     think it's pretty cool that Clooney did this.. he raised $45k in an auction to benefit United Way...maybe some other celebrities should learn from this.
