We don't have enough land in the U.S.solely for this purpose(food needs), however, the sum every little bit of conseravtion contributes to the whole whether it's using corn ethanol or other means.

Any type fuel can be used within a fuel cell with Hydrogen being the most efficient emitting water as a byproduct. Energy must be used, however, to make Hydrogen therefore Carbon Dioxide is still emitted into the atmosphere plus it is more costly to refine.
