POPSLiving the Off-Label Life "A surgeon whose mind is extra-sharp, a pilot who’s extra alert, a medical researcher whose memory is fine-tuned to make extraordinary connections, is able to work not just to his or her own benefit, but for that of countless numbers of people. “Cognitive enhancement,” they write, “unlike enhancement for sports competitions, could lead to substantive improvements in the world.” I’m not convinced of that. POPSHeaven For The Godless? "And they didn’t stop there. Nearly half also thought that atheists could go to heaven — dragged there kicking and screaming, no doubt — and most thought that people with no religious faith also could go." *LOL* I have a visual of my favorite agnostics and atheists here on CM just kicking and screaming their way straight into heaven. What does this clip mean to me? It means what I have said many times; my afterlife and belief in it is not a concern to me at all. My main concern is in this life and what I contributions albeit large or small I may make to society or even one person.
