Notice they gave the administration "3-4 years" so as to allow for an Obama re-election before raising taxes. Then it's all hell breakin' loose for taxes. Either that or let the rating fall and apologize for the fact that we ever had a Triple-A in the first place and appeal to our "empathy for those nations that never had top rating. This would also fit into the progressive p.r. agenda.

Why be afraid to go on FOX and, if they are wrong about you, set them straight? It seems like if you had real faith in your agenda, and if conservatives' notions of what you're up to are way off base, you'd be confident to go look people in the eye and calmly tell them where they are wrong about you, why they are wrong about your extremist associates and appointments, and clear up the issues. You could explain that your advisors aren't students of Mao, Marx, Alinsky and that you understand America is not where we forcibly "redistribute the wealth" for it's own sake.

POPSOpen Letter From Alex Jones to Glenn Beck My own reactions to the Beck Boycott were to battle back. Digging a little deeper, much of this letter coincides with questions I had. As in: ~ "Some of the health reform resistance seems so extreme (death panels) it may have been sprouted by the radical left to drown out serious resistance and questions." That said, I have appreciated Beck pointing in certain directions (history of "progressive movement", etc.) in which I can head off on my own to educate myself on wider ideas. And for calling out the most radical in the current administration, as well. But then, neither am I so sure about all that Alex Jones purports to be the "truth". I sure do know the truth lies in that general direction as opposed to the socialized state or dominant governments.

Now where will be the call for boycotts of advertisers? The calls of racism come fast and furious now, leveled at ANYONE who exposes this administration's radical, thuggish, sneaky agenda. It is the most disgusting trend and it seems to be clearing the bar as far as general acceptance goes. I don't think there can be mounted an intelligent, nuanced enough defense against this tactic. Nearly every argument the right tries to make misses the real mark - sometimes badly. To the point of ridiculously idiotic at times, leaving themselves wide open to counterattack by the left. Those people in that ranch-style home on the suburban lane; the family in that bungalow and their thousands of neighbors in every corner of the city; or those farms and scattered homes out on the road to the next town; in the many homes and apartments, most believed in what made America strong and free and in sustaining that for a lasting America. They were Democrats and they were Republicans. That was not the main issue. It was the body of America vs. people with subversive notions, Communist sympathizers, or any other loony or dangerous ideas. Differences were to be discussed and decided, and then all came together to face down those that would undermine us. Not any more.

POPSWow! A Sensible Path to Very Similar Goals. I urge you to become aware of this body. These are real non-partisan, intelligent, experienced individuals who do not speak in bitterness and vitriol or in self-defensiveness as do our loudest voices in Congress and the administration. Most are supportive of the President, have similar goals, while (magically...hmmm) are able to reasonably offer critique of some of the methods being employed. These guys surprised me with the sober, non-ideological framing of our approaching problems.
