POPSI REALLY want to like this guy.
Going more on general "feeling" and a lack of research on my own part, I "sense"(?), hope(?) that Obama does turn out to be more of a real-world, moderate with common-sense, goodwill, and strength when necessary, than some have declared him to be. Not a good basis for my decision is it? I know. Still, after McCain's disgusting display of dishonesty in the debates (smearing Romney) on one hand,...and the distasteful (putting it mildly) notion of the Clintons on the other, there is a lot to like about Barack Obama. Here is his chance to show what his stuff is. Most troublesome, however, are some of the aides and advisors, not to mention the radical leftists of the population who could over-react with a disproportionate sense of inflated power and grandeur, were he to be elected. At this, for me still, somewhat ignore-ant point in my insight into the man, I have found myself hoping Barak Obama survives the process, and comes through CLEANLY. One huge measure is how he responds to

POPSThis Guy Ain't No Bill Clinton.
Obama will be good for America. And if you are still hankering for Hillary because of notions you've been holding onto for some time now, or some revival of the '90's......STOP......and really LOOK at the candidates. LOOK at the difference.Look in their eyes. Listen to their voices. Watch their mannerisms. Look at whether they are hiding something or not. You can tell. If you have come to believe that Hillary has plans and goals that have so convinced you and that are so important to you that you are willing to overlook the proven track record of deceit and the obvious disdain she feels for people and the phony front she uses to mask it, then I think it is time you re-examine your understanding of those goals and plans you think she has for America. Then re-adjust them back down to reality. Then, after that, compare them to Obama's. As thin as they've been, he has a philosophy - which is more than just hope. He will do things because they are the correct thing to do rather than who

POPSWho's Voting For This Guy?????
Proof (?) the OLD-media still runs the show? It seems that the web and talk radio are quite aware of the Hillary-style contempt J.Mc has for the voters, and the similar ability and willingness to speak a lie directly to a man's face, in front of the world, maintain that lie, and scoff contemptuously at the truth then - AS IF IT WAS THE LIE.!!! Who is it that observes this behavior, in light of the OBVIOUS REAL TRUTH - yet says: "Yes. This is a guy I can trust." WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH OUR PEOPLE? *Two pair of candidates. *In each set one who lies in the face of the truth, plays a childish psychology of blaming, contemptuous rationalizing, storytelling, and manipulation, who wobble from stance to stance revealing an inner core standing for nothing. *And alternatives who are, well, a little better than that, anyway, but who are less connected to the old machinery and can each exude an honest sense of success WITHOUT the puppet strings and the backing of the same power gangs. *W

POPSDishonest?....or.....Stupid? Take a good hard look at the antics of John McCain and don't let the "hero" card get in your way. I ask America: Why do we put as frontrunners two smug, manipulating, LYING, backstabbers like Hillary Clinton and John McCain? Ask yourself! Ask your friends! Ask your family! Why do we flock to these people. Is it a reflection of our own collective self-imagery? Then let's admit we ourselves may be scoundrels at times ~~ AND LOOK FOR SOMETHING BETTER IN OUR LEADERS!

POPSCalculated "straight-talk" LIAR I agree with the author of this post ~ WORD FOR WORD. How could one miss this? And having seen it, what then does it say about one who saw it, yet supports McCain still? It says that that person supports a liar, a childish smirking, unjustifiably self-important emotional adolescent who has to LIE to get over on others.

POPSJohn McCain - Hero, Emotional BABY. Can anyone, after watching this display and the impish smirk, support the guy come Jan.31st. Let alone Feb 5th. If you were not against his political deception in the past, you have to despise his disgusting display of his inner personality in this debate. I thought Mitt might have chucked it all for the chance to pop him in the mouth a good one. What a little punk.

POPSAnd The Wink Says,"I Just Lied" "...and I'm a true conservative" WINK,WINK! With a sly grin. Right in front of the world. Review the victory speech in Florida. ....also.....Mitt has to inject some fresh catch phrases and become more spontaneous and touch some hearts and minds in the next week or he is TOAST.

POPSRacist Agitates Failed HomeBuyers
Having actually benefited from the largest lowering of the financial bar - in terms of qualifying for home loans - certain low-income groups have found in the demographics a reason to pretend it's racism that they have failed to make their payments and/or the due-diligence required to refinance or understand what they had entered into contractually. We know that there is no white t-shirt, musclebound, gold earring guy who jumps out of the Mr.Clean bottle That's marketing. It should be clear that a $250,000 home will never give you equity at the rate of $250 a month. Let alone ever get paid for. It was never a secret that these payments would jump after an introductory period. It was on news, talk shows, T.V., radio, print, web, etc. What part of "interest only" makes you think that is an arrangement one should relax with? Now suddenly the Rev.Suckup inflames people into thinking they're being targeted because they are black. Democrats would freeze rates for years thereby putting th

POPSPres.Material-Obama's a Solid Guy
The others are shifty & insecure. Clinton & Edwards eyes dart, they show anxiety and are quick to defensiveness. Johnny looks like he is trying on facial poses to appear a serious adult..Forget about a LEADER! Give him credit though. He did try to reach his inner nature, though unsuccessfully. Chris Matthews is half-drunk in the post-game analysis. I don't know what these guys think they are seeing and hearing, but they surely aren't seeing these candidates with open eyes. Matthews guesses Hillary won because she took on Bush harshly so she is now the "leader of the party". The self-image of a candidate is more important than whatever it is these news guys are seeing. I don't mean over-confidence, either. Clinton and Edwards are closer to G.Bush than they are to Obama. Insecure and emotionally fragile. Obama scored on every question. The order is "in". Hillary must look good. Make viewers unsure about the reality they just saw, and wonder if maybe Cris and Keith are right -

POPSRudy Losing Heartland Cao says on her blog, regarding Rudy & 9/11: ~~ "You can’t make that the cornerstone of the campaign–it’s like Kerry making 4 months in Vietnam the cornerstone of his campaign. People have to take the whole man into account, and his value system.

POPS"New"Economy NeedsNewTalent Romney brings that without puppet strings. Let's bag the extremists~ right AND left. Here's a guy worth a look for knowing eye to our economy as it fits into the global model. Is Mitt the best one to recognize what is unavoidable about the international economy, blending and revitalizing the elements that are and can remain America's economic prosperity? Who else has the skills? And the ability to bridge the gap politically so that we get out of this B.S. where no matter what he might do is counteracted by hateful radicals who will maybe stop crapping on our forward attitude just to "win" little daily one-up,ego games. Personally, I appeal to anyone to rethink their choices made on religious basis. OR "anti". Let's not ask for trouble and no progress. Hmm? :-)

POPSA Kind of Guy Who Likes the Running,........... ...Is not the best to BE the President. -How often has this been said and heard ~ or similar ~ in the recent years? Well, there is a guy out there who does not seem to be run by other powers and he shows no sign of bending to any ulterior agendas. He's not ego-driven in a dysfunctional way yet he seems to have a healthy enough one to stand up for principles. Speaking of which, are not principles of any extreme or fundamentalist nature. He's worth another look, by anyone who is not on his wagon as of yet.

POPSHip-Hop Hillary Knows"Nothing" That these kinds of people can rise to the top, is a reflection of US. What is wrong that we "grow" this type as potential leaders? Can we fix it?
