POPSThe Truth About Canadian Healthcare If you're in a nation with universal healthcare, I urge you to go to the source site and sign the petition to the US media. Don't let the opponents of Healthcare Reform paint a deceitful picture of Universal Healthcare. Sign the petition, and leave a comment about just what Universal Healthcare means to you and how shameful American Healthcare is.

POPSThe Senate says "No" to Nuts with Guns. Now if they would just find their backbones when it's time to vote in weapon registration acts. Let the babies have their pacifiers; just hold them responsible for what is done with them.

POPSPortrait of a Scumbag What else can you call a Prime Minister that wastes money running attack ads against the Leader of the Opposition when there isn't even an election going on? Complete scumbag. Bring on the vote! I don't want this sleazeball controlling Canada a moment longer.

POPSDon't Vote? Don't Complain! This pretty much sums up my sentiment. It's an exposé on my reason for voting in every single election — I want the right to bitch to the people in charge when things go wrong. Remember to vote, and when things go wrong, write, call or email your member of Parliament, Congressman, etc. and demand an explanation from them. Remember, they represent YOU! They are answerable to you... so long as you vote!

POPSOh, my! How peppery! The Republicans, the master of the aggresive, fiery, offensive speech in congress has claimed that some of them didn't vote for the bailout, because a speech by Pelosi "hurt their feelings". What kind of morons do they think we are. You didn't think it might have had to do with the speeches by other Republicans that basically called people Unamerican if they voted for it? Republicans have nothing but excuses left anymore.

POPSFour more years??? When you think about things like this, which nearly a decade of Republican rule in America has accomplished, it boggles the mind to think that this is actually a close race. Do people think that by voting back in the party that made things such an unholy mess, they're going to suddenly change their tune and fix everything they messed up? Let's not be ridiculous. The Republicans got what they wanted; 8 years of catering to the whims of unscrupulous profiteering companies, making the gap between the rich and the poor larger than it's ever been in America. Experience tells us it'll just be more of the same if they vote a senile, bad-tempered, hair-trigger old Republican into the office of President. So why aren't the polls showing a landslide for Obama? It boggles the mind!
