POPSRich "Victims" The conservatives have a mentality where they need to identify themselves as victims, no matter how good they have it, and then demand that things be made "better" for them, at the same time as they scream "oppression" at anyone who has a differing opinion. It's part-and-parcel of the pathological selfishness that marks right-wingers (really, only a step above sociopaths)

POPSToo much money going to Defense The US spent over 3 times as much on the wars in the Middle East this year than Healthcare Reform will cost over 5 years, even in its most expensive form. Something is definitely wrong with this situation. The government is willing to spend trillions on killing brown people, but quails at spending mere billions on taking care of Americans' health for a change. There are pre-existing conditions, and those conditions are greed and hate.

POPSUVWX People do realize that the only reason that there are still layoffs is because the big bosses aren't willing to sacrifice some of their disgraceful levels of profits for the sake of jobs. It's not the recession that is causing unemployment to be so high; it's greed, plain and simple. Just look at how all the corporations are posting huge profits, even as the common man is suffering. It doesn't take a financial genius to figure out where the problem lies. You want to see employment snap up again quickly? I can tell you how to do it. Simply apply a 75% tax on all corporate profits over $1 million dollars, which can only be reduced if the company creates new, lasting jobs that pay a Living Wage. I wager that the corporations are so adverse to supporting the government they have their meat hooks into so much that they'd rather spend the excess money to make jobs, than give it to the government. And even if they don't, watch how fast the National Debt will drop. It's a Win-Win Plan.

POPSRepublican'ts' Pre-existing Condition Of course they don't want reform. The Health Insurance Industry is getting obnoxiously rich, and they're paying off millions to the Republican'ts they have in their pockets. It's a simple case of Greed vs. Humanity.
2
POPSJust who *is* deep into your pockets? Who do you really want to pay for your healthcare? A profit-driven company that puts profits first, or the government — public servants whose first priority is to serve you; especially since the second option will cost you much less, and give you much better service with more options.

POPSHealth Bizness No, the GOP wants to keep your healthcare in the hands of a parasitic, abusive, greedy Health Insurance agent, who serves his bosses and investors first, rather than a government bureaucrat who will serve you first.

POPSHealthcare "Waterloos" These are the people the Republicans, Blue Dog Democrats and the Insurance Lobby are threatening with their greed. They are your friends and neighbours, or maybe your family... or maybe even you! They are Americans, and they are being held hostage to the profits of Big Health Insurance and Big Drug. Time to release those hostages.

POPSHealthcare Reform Yes, there's always the Republican plan... kill Obama, and then kill the 40 million Americans without sufficient healthcare. It all breaks down to greed; the greed of the Healthcare Industry, who don't want you to get healthcare unless they can leverage a profit out of you.
1
POPSObviously the "Before" picture. This is a pretty good representation of America's current healthcare system. Healthcare reform will help exterminate those parasitic Health Insurance Companies that are sucking up 30-50% of the money you pay them without giving you any better healthcare. Healthcare doesn't have to cost as much as it does in the US. Healthcare doesn't have to be only for a few, instead of for everyone. Americans could be paying Canadian prices for prescriptions made in their own nation. America could have the greatest healthcare system in the world... but for capitalistic greed.

POPSRegulating the Financial Industry This all started with Reagan moronically cutting regulation for the financial industry, letting greed run wild, and aggravated by every Republican president since (and just as shamefully not stopped by Democratic presidents in the interim). If Obama doesn't put a stop to the gangsters in the Financial Industry, we're going to see this exact same recession in 10 years; or maybe worse!
1
POPSTalk Radio Gameplan They sell hate, and the stupid, ignorant and paranoid pay big bucks for it. This is the very definition of the Right Wing. Hate, Deception, Lies and Greed.
3
POPSThere's Hope Yet. It won't be enough, of course. America's Healthcare System needs to be broken down completely and built up anew from scratch, without all the parasites on board, but it is a step in the right direction. Now we just need the Banks, the Financial Industry, the Credit Card Companies and the Payday Loan companies to be properly regulated, and we'll be able to take steps to ensure another greed-induced crash like this doesn't happen again.

POPSThe Face of the GOP This particularly hateful, odeous, self-centred biggot is expressing the true sentiments of the right wing; "Our way or the highway!", "Greed is good" and "Hate thy neighbour.".

POPSGreed wins out again Of course, the MPAA neglects to mention that they are violating consumers' rights by denying them the ability to make backup copies of media they buy. Unless the copies are sold to other people, copying media that you buy isn't a violation of copyright. Of course, the recording industry and MPAA wants to gloss over that fact, and use money and lawyers to rewrite the law the way they want it.
