POPSNot a comeback The Republicans are just as pathetic today, as they were a week ago. Americans are just saying that they're disgusted with both parties, and local issues mean more to them than party affiliations. But I suppose if the GOP don't have their delusions, they've got nothing whatsoever.

POPSFauxNoise Passing off Opinion Journalism as News, placating the gullible, and firing up the lunatic fringe toward violence — that's their mission statement.

POPSIsn't it funny...? ... how the right-wing extremists expect the Centrists to make all the concessions, while they make none whatsoever. That's GOP diplomacy for you... "My way, or the highway". It might not be so bad if their demands actually helped Americans OTHER than the richest 1% of the population...

POPSWake Up, America Thanks to Bush, Cheney and the GOP, this is how the world views you. Not even a hip, young president is enough to fix that, unless you admit to what you did and make reparations.

POPSYou want these guys on board, why? The GOP is in the pocket of the Big Health Insurance and Big Drug, so of course all they're going to do is try to undermine any real reform of healthcare. Besides, if Obama would pay attention, he'd find out that stripping away the real reform to appeal to a handful of Republican't votes is going to lose him a whole bunch of Democratic support. Americans deserve, real, meaningful health reform; not another bandaid on a broken system.
2
POPSThe GOP and their Compulsive Lying They've got nothing but lies and fear in opposition to the much needed healthcare reform, so now they're resulting to bullying tactics. Typical Republican'ts; they can't get their way, so they act like spoiled children. Euthanize the Elderly: LIE Kick you off your current plan: LIE Put someone between you and your doctor: LIE (actually, that's the current state of affairs now) Publicly funded abortions: LIE

POPSShe needed 3 tails The last three were all guilty, but the Insurance Company most of all. Second comes the GOP, whose policies failed to reign in frivolous lawsuits, making Trial Lawyers into villains as well, since they could take advantage of the fact that the government failed to put in place any penalties for filing frivolous lawsuits, like civilized nations have.

POPSHealth Bizness No, the GOP wants to keep your healthcare in the hands of a parasitic, abusive, greedy Health Insurance agent, who serves his bosses and investors first, rather than a government bureaucrat who will serve you first.

POPSBetter Obama than... ... some money-grubbing accountant in an industry more interested in getting your money than taking care of your health being the one in charge of your treatment. Besides, this comic is a strawman. It's doctors that decide what treatment you get with government healthcare, not politicians or bureaucrats. The GOP is lying through its teeth to protect the corrupt interests of the Medical Lobby, not to protect Americans' best interests.

POPSAre these people really thinking about your health, first and foremost? The Insurance companies, the Drug companies, the AMA and the GOP all have an agenda that have nothing to do with providing you with the best healthcare at the best price. Are you really going to let them stop Obama from taking the steps necessary to make healthcare fair for the consumer first and foremost? Do you really want these vultures to hold your health hostage for their profits? Americans deserve better than that! Healthcare must be a public service, not a for-profit business venture, because then, only the rich people win, and everyone else loses. Medical Bills are still the #1 cause of personal bankruptcy in the US. That isn't right!

POPSHow much the GOP cares about Your Health What do they care, so long as they keep getting money and gifts from the Health Insurance Lobby. So long as the GOP let them rape Americans of their hard-earned money, all to get substandard healthcare, th Insurance Companies are guaranteed to keep feeding their pet politicians.

POPSAbraham Lincoln is spinning in his grave The GOP; the party of nuts, lunatics, murderers, and people otherwise divorced from reality is becoming even more radical; even more extremist. Why are the sensible conservatives putting up with it?
8
POPS"I am not a citizen of the world" Apparently, according to Newt, the USA isn't on earth. That would explain the way-out, unearthly attitude many Americans seem to have; living in a fictional GOP world where it's still 1950.
2
POPSToo much like Rush The GOP needs to marginalize dangerous extremists like Limbaugh and Savage. Don't justify them; just let them twist in the wind until they die off like all disgusting things.
1
POPSThey just assumed torture worked The Bush government never bothered to research whether torture was effective or not. They just had lawyers write memos saying that it was authorized. Now that people have come out and shown proof that torture does not produce any useful information, the ditzy GOP is trying to say that the existence of those memos are proof that torture works. Children, the words for today are "wankers" and "evil".

POPSPut a suit on a pig... ... and he's still a pig. The GOP are full of nothing but criticism and denial. Heaven forbid they actually suggest an idea of their own, rather than just bitching unsupportively — well, at least a useful idea (Tax Cuts for the Rich and Cuts to the Social Safety Net don't count as a useful ideas).
0
POPSThe GOP Stimulus Plan They're good at bitching, but do they have any alternative ideas? As usual, no, they don't. Republicans are the US's greatest source of useless hot air.
3
POPSThe Face of the GOP This particularly hateful, odeous, self-centred biggot is expressing the true sentiments of the right wing; "Our way or the highway!", "Greed is good" and "Hate thy neighbour.".
6
POPSHow to Save the GOP Of course, you could always just tell them that Jesus Saves. (No, believe me; they *aren't* already Christians)
