POPSPresidential race tightens again Polls and polls and more polls. In general the race is doing exactly what everyone expected, tightening to about 48% for each candidate and 4% still trying to decide. I've commented elsewhere on undecideds and my shock that it's even possible to not be able to decide between two candidates with such differing views on where we go with this country.

POPSState polls show Ohio and Florida back to McCain With the media spending all day talking up Obama, and talking about the Colin Powell endorsement, not much talk about Ohio and Florida where the polls have gone back to McCain. This site is patently pro-Obama and was forced to show the poll results, even though they still show the electoral college with Obama getting both states. A little misleading at the least

POPSSpotlight - McCain Bloggers stay on message While many of the Obama people are attacking Senator McCain for being "angry" or "old" or whatever attack ... John McCain bloggers are continuing to ask for positive things from our nation's leaders. There really is a difference.

POPSDemocrats say "disregard the fraud" of ACORN It may be too late, everyday voters are pretty frustrated that Democrats for Obama have pursued fraudulent registrations. Polls get closer today, as many voters are getting sick of hearing about unions and Democrats in collusion.

POPSMcCain cuts into Obama lead - down to 3.8% Just outside the statistical dead heat figure, Obama leads but barely. He's lost his lead with male voters and with military voters. Watch for other major polls to futher tighten today as well.

POPSMcCain moves ahead in electoral projections After a month of positive movement in polls, electoral projections now who McCain moving ahead in electoral projections. Senate races still look like pick-ups for Dems, though I've suggested a better result of 49 Reps and 50 Dems with Lieberman playing spoiler.

POPSObama's adisors see problems brewing First he chose a boring VP, then McCain chose an exciting one. Then he attacked Palin, and forgot he's running against McCain. Now, his advisors are getting antsy ... next comes a dwindling money supply

POPSHillary bloggers shut down The author believes that his site and others were shut down because they are running an anti-Barack campaign. If this is the case, this is outright censorship by Google. Hard to believe but the coincidence is as well.

POPSStrong Reformers move to McCain Although the message is strong, and perhaps more sonservative than John McCain, Ron Paul's followers have moved over to support fully John McCain and his straight talk.

POPSMcCain is the comeback kid After losing South Carolina in 2000, losing Michigan on Tuesday, now John McCain looks poised to "win" South Carolina on Saturday and comeback yet again. He is the energizer bunny.
