POPS1 Million Jobs Created Very interesting that the economy did indeed create 11 million jobs, and many of them better paying than the job that were eliminated in the economy. Bad news for real estate in 2007 caused construction job losses, the good news is that this should put some downward pressure on labor pricing in construction allowing better prices. If lots, due to supply and demand, and construction labor, due to supply and demand, and commodoties all decrease then there could be a surge in 2008 in places.

POPSFactory Jobs very imporant to NW Indiana Although fewer people work in the factories than did in the 1970's, for NW Indiana they are still very imporant. Some would increase pollution controls so quickly that these same jobs would be eliminated quickly. Bad idea. The jobs will probably slowly but surely be replaced by higher paying more technological clean industry, but don't push pollution controls so quickly that these jobs are eliminated now. Construction jobs are already off over 200,000 since June, the last thing any market needs is a double market correction. Last though, we need the South Shore extension now! It's time, stop Bob Harper and those that seem to care less about jobs, and get this thing rolling now.
