POPSDan Patterson Contact Info on Social Media I'll be traveling through Africa, the Middle East, and Europe until the end of March, 2008 - for those who need it, here's my contact information. I'll have SOME web access (particularly in Paris, Switzerland, and Dubai) but should be able to check messages. Thanks!

POPSCo-Host Quits New NPR Show Was this a part of NPR's public hunt for talent? Something different? Regardless, how do I get in on that action? I want a morning show on NPR; is there a better fit for Dan in the morning than 'Creepy Sleep AM New York's Hot New Morning Show!' Mmm, okay, maybe that would suck. Then again...

POPSAdobe Audition 3 Not to be a product shill or anything, but I've been a fan of this wave editing suite since it was Cool Edit Pro. Audition 3 fixed a ton of bugs, and added features. It's not designed to be a podcasting suite for Windows, but it easily is one. There are several more vocal compression and mastering tools, and it now works well with a cheap, external USB sound card. I start work on ProTools in a few weeks, so maybe I'll compare the two. Obviously ProTools is a more sophisticated product, but for Windows users, Adobe Audition 3.0 is pretty nice.
