I can't believe Bush hates children so much. After all, how in the world can someone making a measly $80,000 a year be expected to afford insurance for their own children without the government's help?

I am registered republican. Yet I probably need to make the switch. I am disappointed when it comes to politics when I see how the major institution of yesterday exist today only so they can continue to exist tomorrow.
I am of the opinion that everyone would be better served by a large policy change, but when huge companies throw their weight around, the average American citizen, the power, the people, get pushed back in the queue.
Improving child health care would be a huge, huge step in the right direction. And to see such a stubborn man throw it all away, disheartens me even further.
