Well, who wanted this war? Who pushed for it despite having no evidence to support their claims? Who bungled the execution of the war from the beginning?

Some of there responsibility definitely lies with the guys at the top. But not all of it. Some of it is due to the people who voted for these guys.

As for the insurgents, they're bad guys, definitely, and they're responsible for killing and wounding our service members as well as countless Iraqi civilians.

But were there any insurgents in Iraq before we invaded? Was this level of violence happening at the time we invaded?
