POPSPro-Rape Republicans "embarassed" by Franken's anti-rape bill So let's recap: -Franken proposes a bill amendment that says mercenary companies fighting our wars for us can't force their female employees into rigged arbitration (rather than civil court) when they get gang-raped by their co-workers. -The pro-rape Republicans vote against it. Okay, I'll give them that they were voting for their corporate masters, but their corporate masters are interested in sweeping employee-on-employee gangrape under the rug. -The pro-rape Republicans think Franken is rude and inappropriate for forcing them to show their true colors to the public. Why not stand up and defend your votes, Repiublicans? Ten of your party sided with Franken against letting corporations sweep rapes and assaults under the rug. I think a lot of people who dismiss Franken as a clown are going to come to understand that's he's actually a very smart, well-read policy wonk who is also funny.

POPSThe terrorists at Club Gitmo don't want to leave Obvious. What else more could they want? They have personal chefs, TVs, remote controls, beach volleyball, a library overlooking the ocean, scenic views, free laundry service, new prayer rugs to pray to Allah.....and they're getting the H1N1 vaccine before you. The libs want them out of Cuban Clown College as long as they're nowhere near their Manhattan penthouses or vacation spots in the Vineyard. As if splashing water on their damn faces is going to scare them off.....PUH-LEASE. Gitmo should be rebranded so that liberals wouldn’t reflexively scream “TORTURE!” every time they heard it’s name. How about "Misfired Martyrs Motel" or "Viva la Incarceracion!"?

POPSMy Nazi Can Beat Up Your Nazi And continuing to cry about America no longer resembling the one you grew up in only further proves the point that you got it backwards. It's America that did the growing up, and you're the one we no longer recognize.

POPSRon Reagan calls Sarah Palin a “Clown” on CNN Ron Reagan hits it right on the money. Larry Elder gets it right too, any irresponsible comments take away from the real issue. Palin’s persona is rife with these type of comments. Send in the clowns, don’t bother they’re already here.

POPSWhite House: We blew it on Gitmo First of all, who counseled Team Obama against closing Gitmo? I don’t recall anything but wall to wall proclamations from Obama himself about how he was going to shut it down. So if there were advisors, they apparently knew a lot more about governing than Obama did. But the big admission is that they had no plan. When you elect a guy who has never run so much as a lemonade stand to be president, you can’t expect to have him succeed, never mind excel, at a job as complex as that of President of the United States. Of course no failure of the Obama administration would be complete without blaming George W. Bush for his part in the debacle. I am sure everyone remembers Bush and his pals all talking about closing Guantanamo Bay all year last year, right? Uh, well it slips my memory, but I am sure we have video of Bush and Obama at a press conference talking about the bipartisan plan to close Gitmo. Anybody seen that? I didn’t think so.

POPSAndrew Sullivan: "Much Worse Than I Expected" So Andy has finally decided that Barry is a liar. Well, duh. What exactly in part of his campaign made him think he was a stand-up kinda guy? His tie to terrorists? His racist and hateful minister? Too bad for Andy he doesn't have Sarah Palin to trash for kicks to take his mind off of Obama's lying butt. Gross, I can't believe I actually agree with Andy the Clown.

POPSPablo Picasso Giotto, Titian, Rembrandt, Goya were great painters. I am only a public clown - a mountebank. I have understood my time and have exploited the imbecility, the vanity, the greed of my contemporaries. It is a bitter confession, this confession of mine, more painful than it may seem. But at least and at last it does have the merit of being honest." (Pablo Picasso, 1952)
