POPSSavage Attack Leaves Man With Half A Head He was left in a coma for two weeks and his brain swelled so much surgeons removed the front half of his skull just hours after he was admitted. He now suffers frequent seizures, has difficulty talking, and lost much of his memory. Mr Gator now lives with his mother, who is his main carer as he can no longer work. Mrs Gator said: "He's just a different boy. His sparkle is totally gone. He used to be so independent but he can't work any more and he can't drive. He's got half a head and he's completely lost his confidence. "There's absolutely nothing protecting his brain now - it's just under his skin. We're waiting for surgery for a new skull plate to be put in." A Havering police spokesman said they had no plans to look for any other attackers in connection with the case, adding: "We gave the CPS all the evidence available and after reviewing the case they decided not to proceed with it. We adhere to their decision."

POPSAmericas Freedom - Tea Party Speech. This 12 yr old lives in my town. She won a Tropicana Public Speech Contest and will be giving the speech again in Ft. Worth Texas. From the responses, she got a lot of flack from many because she is being (so called) "programed" by her parents and talk-radio. How sad. Since we are such a liberal-dominated capital this doesn't surprise me. Amazing that so many are afraid of a little girl who believes in what she is saying. Not all young people are unaware of what is going on in our Country or what it has planned for their future.

POPSSchoolboy Jai Morcom beaten to death during recess "Jai was just a gentle little guy. He wasn't a fighter.'' Jai's older brother, Mayo, flew home on Friday night from the NSW ski-fields where he works, to join his devastated parents and sisters, Kyra, 26, and Jade, 22. A Year 9 student said the fight was between two school gangs. The student said: "One of the gangs stole a seat from our eating area. We stole it back and it turned into an all-out brawl (and) the teachers did nothing''. The student alleged Jai had been beaten to a pulp and ``it was really scary and intense. It was completely out of control''. A school nurse gave first aid until paramedics arrived, but witnesses said Jai was frothing at the mouth and non-responsive. Forensic detectives, NSW and Queensland police have been called in to investigate and are preparing a brief for the coroner.

The medical guidance for NHS hospitals, limiting care of the most premature babies, was drawn up by the Nuffield Council on Bioethics in 2006. The guidelines are clear: no baby below 22 weeks gestation should be resuscitated.

Christians are dropping a lot of money that they earned, and giving it away to charities outside of their churches. Extreme? I'll say. An extremely kind group of people Conservatives and Christians give so much more to charity than Liberals do, the claim that these folks are evil heartless bastards is asinine. Sadly though liberals have repeated it over and over so many times that even 20/20 won't bother with an investigation one day. I guess that may be the strategy. Sad though.

POPSChampion snowboarder falls to death Ruby won a gold medal in the giant slalom at the 1998 Nagano Olympics and a silver in the parallel giant slalom at the 2002 Salt Lake City Games. She was a six-time world champion with 65 snowboard World Cup victories. She retired after the 2006 Turin Olympics, where she was eliminated in the quarterfinals of the snowboardcross event. Ruby had since been working toward becoming a mountain guide and was expected to finish her training in the coming weeks.
