POPSIt’s the Constitution, Stupid: What the Tea-Partiers Really Want
be prepared, he will give you the right answer, but it will not be the answer you want to hear. I know, I asked him. With that, let me tell you what the Tea Party movement wants. I will make it simple and straightforward and easy for all to understand — I will put it in all CAPS and type slowly: THE TEA PARTY MOVEMENT WANTS AMERICA TO RETURN TO CONSTITUTIONAL PRINCIPLES. There it is. I said it, one simple sentence. The Democrats and its activist old media want to find “leaders” for the Tea Party movement. They feel that the only worthwhile political movement must have direction from a man (or woman—but mainly men). They saw the movements led by Stalin, Hitler and Mussolini and feel that there must be a dynamic personality for people to follow in order for it to be significant. That same game plan was followed in the 2008 presidential election: find a dynamic leader who fits with the values of larger, more intrusive government, and follow him.

POPSHard to believe this is happening in American Universities Shameful and shocking. From a previous UCI intifada uprising: “…Our weapon, our jihad, our way of struggling in this country , is our tongue. We speak out, we deflate their morale, and it’s the best we can do right now…and our brothers and sisters on the other side of the world are handling business in their own way.”

POPSWaffle House architect now scattered, smothered, and covered Tweaked and updated a little over the years, the same basic plan was used for Waffle Houses in 28 states, said his brother Donald Nahser of Alpharetta. "He used to say, 'Anybody who's ever traveled through the South by car has been in one of my buildings,'" his brother said.

POPSThe Progressive Tantrum "Also read Gerard Alexander on liberal condescension. It occurs to me that American liberals are re-learning the lesson of the old left-wing chant: The people united can never be defeated. And it's driving them up a wall." - http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2010/02/04/AR2010020403698.html

POPS"DARPA Wants to Override Evolution to Make Immortal Synthetic Organisms" more (at source): Unsurprisingly, molecular biologists have weighed in with huge caveats and raised fingers of objection. First, they say that DARPA has the wrong idea about hoping to overcome evolution's supposed randomness, and that evolution really represents a super-efficient design algorithm. Then there's the problem of guaranteeing immortal life for any biological creature in the first place -- just look here and here at some really smart people who have yet to find that fountain of youth.
