POPSU.N. on Israeli War Crimes
The Goldstone Report now has been approved overwhelmingly by the UN General Assembly. The report calls for Israel to investigate it's war crime accusations...and for the Palestinians to investiage theirs -- and says the slow starvation of over a million and half people in the Gaza Strip should stop. Now, it seems it goes to the Security Council. Which means, if things go as usual, the USA will veto it and it will end there. The USA has does similar actions at the UN for decades, protecting Israel, no matter what. The USA House of Congress has even gone on record, this week, opposing this war crimes report. Israel yesterday seized a ship with weapons and said they come from Iran and this was a war crime...also pointing out that Russia, the USA, China, etc. are all guility of war crimes. The conclusion appears to be that war is a war crime. Everybody's guilty. And let's just forget it. ...um, except when talking about the Nazi's of WWII or the Bosnian Serbs curre

POPSGoodbye Palestinian State
The chief negotiator for Palestine in the Eviction Talks (definitely NOT "peace talks,") with Israel says it might be time to give up the two-state solution. Of course the negotiations were a charade and this is the USA-puppet Palestinian government, not Hamas, but still it rings out as a profound statement, a "thinking of the unthinkable," for Palestinians, a clear declaration of surrender. Thus, the Israeli Eviction Talks seem to be moving along well for them. Erekat seems to miss the point on that. He thinks there will have to be a One State Solution, with Jews, Christians and Muslims all living happily together. Oh my. That is not in accord with the Israeli Eviction Notice. And where does Erekat get the idea that the U.S. will come to Palestinian aid? How long and how much do you have to beat up some people before they get the message? -- The U.S. is on the side of Israel (giving cash, weapons, support for Zionism at home and in the UN). Maybe an "Aineisa," will

POPSMore USA-ME Double Talk
The USA pretenses for ME peace stumbled a few days ago when Sec. of State Hilary Clinton was praising Israeli's latest sham offers to maybe-someday-for a while, perhaps slow down construction on new settlements. She called this sham an "unprecedented offer," and then tried to press the Palestinians into accepting it as enough good faith to renew so-called peace talks. But even the puppet Palestinian government said no: Freeze all settlement expansion now is their condition to restart so-called peace talks. This Israeli favoritism also angered every Arab who could read. So Clinton had to backtrack, double-talk and was given a script to read: this clip. The truth is Israeli's policy is to kill as many Palestinians as necessary, destroy their homes, farms, industry, water and power supplies, sacred sites -- hinder travel and work, starve the Gaza strip to death until all Palestinians give up and move out. That IS the policy. Negotiations should be called: Eviction Talks,

POPSU.S. Mercenaries Exempt from all laws
#1. These mercenaries employed by the U.S. are not subject to the laws of the host country; in this case, Iraq. #2. They are not subject to military laws #3. Now we also see, in this case, they put 'fine print,' in their contracts with employees that they falsely use to avoid accountability to U.S. laws. Over and over again the excuses and the manipulations, the seeking of exemptions and/or special privilages never ends. It's a full time job to keep up with such people and group and those that are suppose to do so often fail or are lax in their jobs (like we learned in the financial scams that keep happening). This clip talks about fixing this "loophole," next year. That's a joke. These people should be arrested and put on trail now. You can pretend to excuse murder, rape, stealing, etc. because you got the victim to sign a contract! Yet many people will do what they want and try to get away with anything. (Like also we see with USA health insurance companies getting esd

POPSNew USA Missile Defense Strategy President Obama has ended plans to put missiles on the Russian border, in Poland. The Bush plans were stated to be as a protection from Iran. Russia considered missiles on its border to be a threat and was determined to stop the project, threatening a military strike and also targeting European cities with nukes.

POPSUSA/Israel Nuclear Double Standard
This link was on my Google Home Page, a YoutTube from Al Jazeera. It's about how Israel has nukes. Everybody knows they have nukes. Secret deals were made with the USA not to mention that Israel has nukes -- hundreds of nuclear weapons and, apparently, working too on nuclear power. If you didn't know...well, this video explains it. It also makes clear this Double Standard is a hoax, unfair, deceptive, full-of-lies, bollix or bulls*it or whatever you want to call it. It's also dangerous. The danger is trying to whip up a war with Iran....with false claims that it wants to make nuclear weapons sometime in the future....something which can't be proved even if true. So --- while having hundreds of secret nuclear weapons of all sorts, Israel wants a war with Iran for having a nuclear power program. This is how Iran and those who know the facts view the politics -- a double-standard based on Israeli secrets and lies. "Died for Lies," might be a good tombstone to make for

POPSNATO (USA) Kills More Civilians
Almost nobody in the USA cares about this, btw. We call it "collateral damage." When Yanks wake up, have their breakfast, decide upon who we should be murdering now, the world is a simply place, laid out like a game of Risk. We move our troops over here, over there and it's "unfortunate," we kill woman and children but it's just the price of war. The price of war is not that high....if you're not the one paying it. Oh...we call ourselves NATO now. Like Iraq this is all part of a grand Coalition: we're just doing our part. If you look at the Risk Game, a global war against all Muslims makes a lot of sense: The Chinese fight "Muslim extremist," The Russians fight "Muslim extremist. NATO is on board. This also helps keep our troops in shape and our weapons updated. We're starting to get a few good movies out of it too. We have to take over Nigeria, too. And that guy in Venezuela, his days are numbered. Peace in 4 or 5 years, maybe...with a sustain presence; that's wo

POPSIsrael Claims UN's IAEA Withholding Info
Israel, which has hundreds of secret illegal nukes and god knows what weapons of mass destruction...and has refused to sign the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty...now accused the UN of withhold info and accused Iran of not abiding by "proper," nuclear policies. And it wants the USA and the West to go to war about this and/or cripple the Iranian economy. What's wrong with this picture? -- It's the opposite of the truth. The truth is Israel's secret and illegal nuclear weapons. But we're suppose to go to war because of empty claims of Iran's alleged "desire," for nuclear weapons. Israel is in no position to make such accusations or demand more wars. It's the one that should open it nuclear weapons programs to UN inspection (like Iran does). Supporting Israel is support collective punishment, apartheid, policies of genocide towards the Palestinians. It's best the worst mistake in USA modern history and in the EU, too. Israel is the active and real threat to world peace

POPSPretenses for ME Peace Peak Again Middle East pretenses for peace are heating up again. The Israeli idea appears to be that they will not change their policy on expanding settlements, declare Jerusalem to be all theirs and it's sole capital, and want to see the USA and EU increase sanctions on Iran to the extent of crippling it's economy. !?

POPSTop 50 USA War Criminals This is a pretty good list. If you don't know, btw, the idea comes from the USA having a Top 50 (Top 52) list of Iraqi alleged war criminals and putting their faces on a deck of cards (like this article does). Of course, these are just accusations. They should be arrested first, held in secret prisons for a few years, tortured and then maybe...maybe we have a trial for a few of them. That would be Bush League Justice (i.e., injustice). Maybe a few on the list are innocent or dupes...but we should let that get in the way. I note the clip calls not only for activist, U.S. appropriate officials but also for foreign courts and the International Criminal Court to get involved. That would be a good thing to lobby for, esp. for those who live outside the country, could put lobby effort there...because you can't expect a guilty nation to hold guilty people as accountable as they should...it's sort of like expecting a fox to guard the hen house.

POPSIsraeli soldiers harvesting organs from dead Palestinains I don't know if this is true or not...the story says there is lots of organ trafficking going on in Israel and now this is part of it. It struck me because some Jews and/or Israeli's were arrested recently here in the USA for organ trafficking. Supporting Israel, imo, has been the worst chapter in USA history.

POPSRussia Charges US Is Rearming Georgia
This is abut the USA, Israel and the West trying to get oil and gas from the Caspian Sea. Georgia is critical for the pipeline. Amazingly, the Georgian Defense Minister is an Israeli (!) and an Israeli general is a prime advisor to their Georgian Army and was involved in starting last year's war. U.S. troops also there, on the ground; and NATO as well, even though Georgia is not in NATO but the West is trying to get it in. This headline is made at the same time, the same day, that Russian nuke subs are reported off the East Coast of the USA, the Cold War quickly being microwaved reheated. I think we should BUY and oil and natural gas we need and invest and develop more alternative energy and our own oil reserves if we have to. I hope we don't have to listen to any more propaganda about fighting for "peace and democracy," or twist it around to make it sound like Russia is the aggressor (on it's own border, while we're 12,000 miles from home) It's another war for B

POPSRussian nuke subs off USA East Coast
It seems the USA's non-stop lifetime of foreign wars and aggression is getting some push back. With impunity the USA sails nuke subs and aircraft carriers on the coast of Iran and Iraq...did the same in Vietnam....then blames the natives when they get "restless." We're also building a missile base in Poland, on the Russian border. We got troops and funding for the Republic of Georgia...we're trying to get to the world's largest reserve of gas and oil, in the Caspian Sea. If you go into a bear's cave, imo, and start poking around, we shouldn't be surprise if the beast becomes upset. I think this...along with the renewed air flights of nuke weapons bombers near the USA...and Russian making alliances in South America...shows a new Cold War has started: Cold War Two. Or Cold War Reheated. Or we're on 'pre-heat," for the baking up of new tensions. I'd suggest we BUY any oil and gas we might need and give up trying to steal it...and make progress with alternative energi

POPSU.N. Asks for Investigation of U.S. Mercenaries The use of so-called "private security contractors," -- i.e. mercenaries by the USA for extraordinary rendition (and torture) is now a U.N. issue. Such private armies, btw, are a real and very dnagerous sign of growing fascism. The founder of Blackwater, one of the largest, has just been implicated in court of murder, murder of some folks who were going to expose some of Blackwater's war crimes. Blackwater, btw, was forbidden to be in Iraq anymore...so they changed their name and now do their thing in Afghanistan. It's all sick and ugly. If you count the mercenaries the USA actually has about TWICE as many forces in Iraq, 300,000 or more. Plus, since they are not "official army," it's easier for them to get away with murder...being beyond direct military or Iraqi control.

POPSU.S. Criticises Israeli Evictions U.S. criticizes Israel. Whew! It must have taken one hundred thousand of us lobbying against zionist extremist for one hundred thousand hours each for one hundred thousand days and -- Presto!, coupled with persistent efforts to elect better leaders and the dramatic, landslide defeat of the warmongering, racist Repuglicans -- and Israeli's fascist and policies of Palestinian genocide finally get challenged and "criticized." Oh happy day! The Israeli warping of USA foreign policy and history has been the worst decades in our long national tale.

POPSObama speaks to NAACP, on 100th Anniversary
OMG! In the last two days, after his busy week overseas, the President came back and right away was fighting strong and hard to get a national health care plan for USA citizens (we don't have one). While there are so many doubters, so many critics, and so many opponents and enemies to his presidency he keeps on blasting them away and moving forward. Now, today, he spoke at this 100th Anniversary of one of the USA's most noted black civil rights group. Just that made it an event: the first Afro-American president speaking to the NAACP...and on their 100th anniversary. It was good, for sure...but near the end when he refered to last week being is the Slaver's Fort in Ghana and went on from there (starting with the hypocrisy of a church at the slave fort the slave traders built for themselves) -- and went on to those noted activist who fought and died for black civil rights and got into the whole MLK or M_Ali no holds barred fullness of it all ---- simply mind blowing! POPSAnother Minority & Female Gets Power Position in USA
This clip isn't about the WASP-M getting appointed to be the U.S. Ambassador to China. (WASP-M = White, Anglo-Saxon, Protestant - Male) No, today it was announced the USA is going to get a black, female doctor as it's Surgeon General, head health person. On this same day a Hispanic female started her hearings, process to be approved as one of the nation's most important judges. The things that strikes me about these appointments (including the WASP-M) is how qualified all these people are, all almost like superstars in their field and/or with a real-world resume of skills and accomplishments. I see this too in the black woman who is now our U.N. Ambassador, the black man who now heads our space agency, NASA and the black male Attorney General, the nation's head prosecutor. The white woman now head of Homeland Security and the one now in charge of Health and Human Service also same - both past governors. And some woman name Hillary as Sec. of State. It's less preju

POPSU.S. frees 5 Iranian diplomats held since 2007 Two and a half years in prison without any charges being filed, without any evidence being presented, without any rights to a lawyer, no chance to defend yourself from accusations, all contact with family, friends, your own government or agencies like the Red Cross cut off No clearing of their name. This is classic injustice, another example of USA hypocrisy and cruelty, phony face and double-standards. Why all the concern on the media about Iranian election results and almost zero coverage about USA violations of its own principles? The answer, of course, is strong forces of neocon conservatives, warmongering Republicans and Zionist extremist are once against pushing for war against Iran.

POPSBritish agitators arrested in Iran Of course, when you conspire with the USA to start a war based on deliberate lies...resulting in the murder of hundreds of thousands...it's important to keep up pretensions. POPSMilitary worries NKorea will attack Hawaii.
?? Having small crazy nations get nuclear weapons (i.e., not nuclear power....but nuke weapons) is a worrisome event. What to do? Who to do it? The U.S. Military, the Cheif of Staff announced his intent to enforce a UN resolution about this...meaning, right now, the U.S. Navy is starting to follow and 'monitor,' North Korean ships suspected of carrying nuke weapons material. Of course, like Congress in 2002 aproved the USA enforcing UN resolutions....the U.N actually has a provision that says one nation can't take the law into it's own hands and the UN enforcement of a UN provision would be done by a UN approved international force....not just the USA Navy taking matters into it's own hands. But it does sound nicer for the warmongers....out there just doing good...only enforcing UN resolutions. But, apparently some fear has to be sprinkled on this...so we have the "fear," that North Korea will nuke Hawaii. !? "Yes, comrade, Let's nuke their resort beaches

POPSSaberi was a U.S. spy.
Revealed today, according to her own defense lawyers, is what she had done -- copy top secret government document. You may have heard news reports about this having to do with her buying a bottle of wine -- all lies. You may have hear news reports about her overstaying her visa -- all lies. You may get the impression that our country (the USA) doesn't have spies -- a rather naive idea. But it's good she got home. She deserves a medal. But we (the USA) should stop acting like pious hypocrites, which we do all the time, as if we, d'uh, don't have spies, d'uh, are not invading foreign countries, d'uh, we don't torture, d'uh, d'uh,d'uh. -- We got a lot of cleaning up to do and a lot of 'getting real,' in our own heads and stop warmongering like some dumb Disneyland Baby Huey. POPSBombshell (!) in Israeli-USA Spy Network Case
I'm glad this reporter summed up yesterday's revelations (see clip) -- and he did a good job -- because it would have stretched the limits of my own incredulousness to do so. 1. Serious Israeli spying on the USA. (Not accusation. Guy in jail for 12 years; previous cases, guys in jail) 2. These two Israeli lobbyist from AIPAC are facing trial for being involved but real heavy-duty machinations keep getting the trial postponed. 3. Jewish Congresswoman Jane Harmon tells the Jewish Lobby and Israeli agents she will help quash the trial of the two AIPAC lobbyist if they can use their influence to get her nominated to become head of the House Intelligence Committee. 4. This is caught on tap in a legal wiretap that was on the AIPAC accused Israeli spies. 5. AG Gonzales (this was a year ago,Bush president) stops any investigation of Congresswoman Harmon by the NSA in exchange for her supporting Bush era illegal warrantless wiretaping of US citizens. Wow! This can't go on.

POPS Ahmadinejad Misquoted Throughout Western World
A singular fact, so clear, is how the President of Iran -- who's nation is threatened with war every week by the USA and Israel -- is consistently accused of denying the Holocaust. Have you every heard that claim? He denies the Holocuast. If not you can read it in the UK headline right here: http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2009/apr/21/ahmadinejad-geneva-speech-israel or check out any USA American newspaper today. The clip, here, is the actual text of the speech Ahmadinejad gave yesterday. The one reference to the Holocaust is there. He says the Holocuast has been used as an excuse to invade Palestine. That's the only mention of the Holocaust. And text from other speeches, two he gave here in the States in the last two years, say the same thing: He's not denying the Holocaust; he is denying that it is a valid excuse to set up a racist Zionist state and mistreat Palestinians. Quite a difference, isn't it? And day after day we hear it and it's almost "outrageous," to point t

POPSIran promises full appeal rights for potential US spy
#1 > Most USA Americans seem to think we don't use spies. This despite common sense, despite never ending revelations of the government illegally spying on it's own people, despite the case of 27 CIA agents indicted in Italy, etc. etc. #2. It seems Yanks can totally disregard their own behavior and we're suppose to be upset about (gasp!) her trial was secret (for national security reasons), while for most of the nightmare Bush years we've been holding HUNDREDS of people in prison who haven't even had a trial; in fact, who haven't even had specific charges made against them, who names are not even released and many of whom have been tortured. This woman, on the other hand, even though her initial prompt trial (she hasn't had to wait years in jail before her trial) was behind closed doors -- for national security reasons just like the USA always claims -- she did have a lawyer, her name was released, she's able to talk to her parents and she now has the right of appeal. !?

POPSU.S. wants Afghanistan to be "world's responsibilty."
I'm not sure if the world or most of us woke up realizing we've been assigned a new responsibility. Obama's come into office with more mess than Vietnam and with apparently the same political dictum: "We can't be defeated." This is a good idea if talking about defending your country but no such a great idea when it forces you to defend foreign aggression started with deliberately fabricated lies (the the UK and USA) in a no-win situation. It's also becoming clear that now another nation, Pakistan, is being identified as a problem. More info on other thread about this. I think I finally sense a 'master plan." Obama can't allow the "Fall of Kabul," so he's going to let the Russians back in (as they are asking). The U.S. doesn't like Muslims with nukes so this means take-over or "regime changes,' in Pakistan and to make this most 'hard and real,' Obama will let India in (as part of ongoing working together), eventually occupying Southern Pakistan. Iran surrounded. Ira

POPSRussia offer to help U.S. in Afghanistan
Russia seems quite adept at smacking you in the face and then offering a helping hand. I rate it as a dangerous country (and the USA no better) just for the fact that it knows how to lie like the UK and USA, etc. -- but I believe it has carefully thought about it's actions and is now using significant power. In one week the U.S. Afghanistan supply base in a former Soviet territory is ordered to shut down; the route for supplies to Afghanistan through Pakistan is shut down due to a major bridge blow up. Oil and gas supplies to Europe are turned on and off at will. It's building bases in the Georgia area, after defeating a U.S. sponsored Georgian invasion of former Soviet territories. It's backed down, I believe, the Bush Evil Empire plans for putting nuclear weapons on it's border, in Poland. It is splitting NATO and re-establishing a second Warsaw Pact. Lying policies of the UK and USA (like the war in Iraq) haven't helped. I think Obama has to fear the 'Fall of Kab

POPSMoronic USA Responses to bin Laden's latest tape
Osama bin Laden released another audio tape calling for opposition to the massacres in Gaza. He also predicted that USA non-stop warmongering is bleeding the country dry, that it is in a no-win situation, and that in a few decades the USA will give up. Every day, if Obama continues it's Crusader-Zionist aggression it's strength as a world power diminishes. The response from official White House spokespersons and on most mainstream media was: Number One: don't talk about the content of the message. #2. Wonder if the tape is real? Wonder if bin Laden is really still alive. #3. Say this is not important. The Great Global War o Terror & Islamofascism is bigger than just this one man. #4. Say bin Laden is just trying to draw attention to himself, acting 'as if,' he's still relevant. #5. Say this is just a money-making scam, trying to raise funds for himself. #6. Point out that it's Bill Clinton's fault. Everything bin Laden says makes sense and the White Hou

POPSWSJ:The Gaza-Egypt Smuggling Tunnels Must Be Closed
To Israel, the USA, war poodle Tony Blair and apparently most of the ruling governments of the European Union and NATO, peace mean closing the tunnels that desparate caged people have dug to get food, medical supplies, petrol, building equipment, weapons for self-defense or simply to escape. Peace means accepting starvation. Peace means accepting conquests and the ongoing stealing of your land. Peace means not fighting back. When the USA or UK & other Western powers (or the paid off dictatorship of Egypt or Kings of Saudia Arabia) - when they talk about a Middle East peace process this is what they are talking about. But the fact that these million and a half people in Gaza have been slowly starved to death for over a year and a half, you would think, might be a point of consideration about what is going on in Gaza. Now in this clip the former Israeli ambassador to the UN indicates this is also a plan for the West Bank -- a 'defensible border,' which means control by cruel

POPSBlair: Gaza cease-fire must halt Hamas smuggling
Former UK PM - USA Iraq War Poodle, Tony Blair had some made up position as spokesperson for the so-called Quartet that was another pretense of working for peace in the Middle East. As this statement makes clear, the UK (and USA, etc) 'working for peace means blaming the Palestinians. There is no mention by Blair (or the USA, etc.) that the Israeli blockade has been slowly starving a million and a half people to death with it's blockade, fencing them in like prisoners with it Wall, hindering travel, work; destroying farms and industry and also consistently expanding Israeli settlements onto Palestinian land. And...according to Blair, the problem is Palestinians building tunnels to escape the ghetto, or to bring in food, medical and rebuilding supplies and Yes, probably, weapons to fight back against slowly being starved to death, turned into prisoners with no escape, and continuing to see their land seized and homes and farms/industry destroyed. How cruel all this is. & s

POPSFrance Backs Russia's Demand to Stop USA Missile Base in Poland
Also talk of a pan-European security pact. I'm stunned and impressed. I urge all Europe, all Europeans to support the French President. This was a for real nuclear showdown, like the Cuban Missile Crisis in 1962. I really thought a city in Poland, or others in Europe were going to get nuked. NOTHING IS RESOLVED YET. The USA plans to put nukes on the Russian border are still in place. There is no way - because of American ideology about Russia - that Obama can stick his neck out and stop these missile base plans. But now BOTH France and Russia oppose them. If other EU countries join them -- if there is massive street protest (like some are doing in Poland and Czech Republic) this could give Obama an "excuse," -- to go along with the will of Europe; then he'd be going along with the will of Europe instead of backing down from the Russians. Plus - pan-European security pact? Gads! NATO out the window. NATO expansion out the windown. Boy, Bush really @#Red up. He IS

POPSUSA/Russian Nuke Missile Showdown -EU Talks
When you hear the news you get lots of spin sometimes. This clip has the bottom line: Russia will not put nuke missiles on it's border with Poland if the USA takes away it's nuke missiles from Poland. That's it. Don't believe these are not nuke missiles. Don't believe the USA is a nice peace loving country that's only interested in protecting itself. And, My God! --Don't believe, as this clip shows is in the article, don't believe that the USA putting nuke missiles in Poland on the Russian border is for protection from Iran. Protection from Iran!? Yet, this is what the USA tells it's citizens and tell the world. How frigging dumb ass do we have to be? (This is like the quality of other U.S. propaganda; it seems to be made up by the Muppets). THIS IS A SHOWDOWN. THIS IS A SHOWDOWN WITH NUCLEAR WEAPONS. IF THE USA DOES NOT BACK DOWN THE RUSSIANS WILL SHOT; THEY WILL NOT ALLOW NUKE WEAPONS ON THEIR BORDER. I foresee a nuke or two being set off in Europe.

POPSSplit Over Russia Grows in Europe, Re: Missiles. Georgia
Russia moving up missiles to their border with Poland (in response to the USA missile base being built there) is no joke. The Russians have also said they have re-targeted their nukes to aim at European cities. This is no joke. Russia is right, imo, and it won't backdown. It can't let a warmongering nation like the U.S. A. put a nuke missile base right on it's border. This is like the Cuban missile crisis of the 60's, except the shoe is on the other foot - and full-tilt nuclear war was threatened. Is anybody in Europe reading this news? What are they going to do? I think hundreds of thousands of their lives are in danger and don't hear much talk or anything be done about it? Obama won't do anything on his own. (long story) IMO, if the people in Europe don't stop this U.S. missile base nobody else will and they are in grave danger. The missile base in Poland, btw, -- for the real joke...the USA claims is to protect against nuke missiles from Iran That mak

POPSRussia pledged to station new missiles near Poland's border
Countries don't like missile bases being put on their border (Even if it's claimed they are "defensive.") The USA, over the last two years, has pressured and bribed Poland and Czechoslovakia to corporate in putting such a missile base on Russia's border. Now the missile base has started construction in Poland and a radar system in the Czech Republic. For all this time Russia has been saying "don't do it," then started saying they will respond with military actions, now they are moving some of their nuclear missiles up to the Polish border; they have also said previously that they have reprogrammed other missiles to target cities in Europe. Polls say a majority of Czechs oppose this. Czech MEP Libor Rouček speaks out against these USA plans. " No Bases Initiative" demonstrates. Two thirds of people in the UK also feel threatened.. 50 Labour MPs have issued a statement calling for a public debate Bush is like a mad dog. I urge Europeans to fight this like your life depend
