This warmongering White House just keeps unraveling our Constitution, our principle, our ideals, our society and our politics day after day. A common idea we use to have, for example, was that "No man is above the law." But apparently this nominee thinks the President is above the law. And the talk is still how he's suppose to be approved!? Screw him. Screw any politician who votes for him. Of course in the real world we all know that the rich, if not 'above the law,' normally have a 'better,' law, better results with the law, better lawyers, special consideration. So too big names, celebrities, Hollywood stars. Most of US prisons, for example, are overpopulated with the poor, the least educated and the minorities. (The USA has the biggest prison populations in the world, BTW, by %) The audaciousness of these warmongers. Theyshoot you in the face and expect/get the victim to apologize for being there (a Cheney factual example). Well...no longer a good country. Hopefully

POPSRepublican Rallies Now Sound like the KKK The clip from the New York Times reports someone at a Palin rally urging killing Barrack Obama, others calling Obama a 'traitor," -- Palin associating him with domestic terrorist...and an Afro-American TV reporter being hassled by the crowd. If we let these Republicans win again these are the types of people we'd be continuing to let rule and mislead our country. I urge their defeat not just in the elections next month, but the elections after that and the election after that until their party is driven into extinction. This will not only help our country but "send the message," that you shouldn't mislead and lie a nation into war, you can't commit war crimes, you can't shred the Constitution, you can't destroy our economy and give away money to the banks while people life savings are stolen. Along with Obama's LANDSLIDE VICTORY, great gains have been won by the Democrats in both the House and Senate -- the greatest gains in over 80 years (since the Great Depression & FDR's election). POPS Karl Rove Unraveling: Congress threatens arrest. ormer White House Press Secretary Scott McClellan writes in a surprisingly scathing memoir to be published next week that President Bush “veered terribly off course,” was not “open and forthright on Iraq,” ALSO, RE; ROVE, McClellan asserts that Karl Rove, the president’s senior adviser, “Scooter” Libby and VP Cheney had a meeting on how to handle the Valarie Plame CIA leak case (i.e. a collusion in a Federal case) NOW a Congresswoman on the Judiciary Committee, said on TV yestereday that if Rove doesn't show up for a subpoena --- concerning the Siegelman's case. ---CONGRESS WILL ARREST HIM! Who knew Congress could arrest people!? (like a parliament deciding to arrest someone). Well, it turns out there is actually a one room jail in Congress and they can send out the 'sergeant at arms,' and (without the police or courts), go out and arrest someone. Whew! POPSObama Victory: People Around the World Celebrate It adds to our joy and excitement to hear and see some people from around the globe celebrating Barack Obama's victory. His victory says so much about what most Americans want their country to be: Not that Obama was black, BTW, but that his being black made no difference. That America is truly a land of equality and opportunity that most of us want it to be...a core, a central idea from the very first words that began our nation: "...that all men were created equal." Of course, all major Western nations that existed at that time had slavery, had restrictions on woman...so it took time to work all those bad things out. (Freeing slaves, BTW, was in America's first document: The Declaration of Independence, but it was deleted when the majority at that time would not vote for it) We're happy that others in other countries can see and feel what this means for us....and also what it means for them: The nightmare of the last eight years is over. POPSThe Last of the Polls Show Obama Way Ahead. A major LANDSLIDE VICTORY now looks certain. 270 electoral votes needed to win. Many now predict he will get at least 280 or more. Over 300 would be extra good. Over 340 would be a LANDSLIDE VICTORY. Things also looking better for Democrats in both the House and Senate, much better than expected and the non-stoppable ruling total of 60 Senators even appears possible. Folks had been saying McCain's chances were like hoping to draw into an inside straight. Now, though, it looks like he needs a miracle. Obama continues to campaign on this Election Day, in a firmly held Republican state. He appears determined not just to win but to make gains in many traditional Republican states, "redrawing the electoral map." -- changes that might last for decades.

POPSObama Victory - Most Shown Headline Photo I actually had to hunt for it (for a whole 7 minutes) on the Internet, but one TV news report showed the Headlines from newspapers around the country and this was the photo on most of them. Interesting. Good slide show on this page, including lots of the Main Man surrounded by flags and massive crowds and celebration on all sides. A lot of First Families have been somewhat stiff and scripted or set up for phony poses. But when Michelle led her children out onto the stage is was real: She wanted them to see and get a sense of who their Dad now was ('cause he's just a "Dad," to them) And when she smiled it was a real smile. And when she and Obama hugged it was a real hug and when she looked at him in some amazement and admiration it was real amazement and admiration. In fact, there is also evidence that links Republicans to voter fraud, but far less coverage of that. They would like to win the election by painting Obama as if he's doing voting fraud, as if he's linked to 'domestic terrorist,' as if he's getting vast amounts of funding from Arab sources, etc. They are appeal to hate and fear; hate and fear and no substance behind it at all; and no substance to actually work for the interests of the American people (or the world). POPSMichelle Obama Scores a Big Goal! The most natural thing to have said for this Clip Title was, actually, to say: "Michelle Obama Hits a Home Run!" For an American audience "hits a home run," is a powerful phrase and such phrases and natural plain but powerful way of speaking American English is one of cool things about the Obama campaign: their natural talk. Yesterday Michelle spoke before a crowd of 12,000 and made a point -- and incredibly powerful point that slashed at Republicans and made an essential statement associated with Democrats -- all in the same sentence. She said (starting out with a reference to Republicans). She said: "They talk a good game about family values, but we want policies that value families." DANG! (Only our corrosive and toxic media might make it seem otherwise). It's like having your electricity, water supplies, food and medical supplies all slowly reduced and strangled because someone else robbed a bank. Hideous behavior. Unjust. The election official typed in his name as 'Joseph." This happen to Anne Nguyen. The election official typed her name as: "Ann." You would think such a thing would be no problem.
