POPSBorderline Personality Disorder "...What defines borderline personality disorder--and makes it so explosive--is the sufferers' inability to calibrate their feelings and behavior. When faced with an event that makes them depressed or angry, they often become inconsolable or enraged. Such problems may be exacerbated by impulsive behaviors: overeating or substance abuse; suicide attempts; intentional self-injury. (The methods of self-harm that borderlines choose can be gruesomely creative. One psychologist told me of a woman who used fingernail clippers to pull off slivers of her skin.""

POPSIs social media an illusion? What i get out of social media is access to information and ideas that i otherwise wouldn't find myself. Quite honestly, my social media attention is primarily allocated to Clipmarks and Amplify because these two sites provide the type of experience i'm looking for - the abilty to understand the world better by seeing it through other people's eyes. I genuinely believe i am a smarter, more well rounded person because i've had the opportunity to see what other people are reading and what they have to say about it.

POPSJust for the Love of It: Riches beyond Cash
It's about sharing your tools so you all can have access to all the tools under the sun without it costing the earth. It's about using any free space you have to either benefit positive, ethical and local projects, or to enable volunteers to keep doing their amazing work for free. It's about sharing the land you don't need in order to facilitate a local food community. It's about freeconnecting neighbours. It's about learning to help each other again. It's about getting ready for a post peak oil world. It's about making dinner for a friend who was yesterday a stranger. It's about keeping money out of the equation. It's about communicating face-to-face and phasing out technological communication. It's about putting the soul back into society. It's about helping each other not for profit, but just for the love-ofit. What is a Freeconomy? A Freeconomy is a moneyless society in which no money changes and there is no duality between giving and receiving; here they are seen as

POPSBigots are buggers
Prof. Adams says his research shows that most homophobes "demonstrate significant sexual arousal to homosexual erotic stimuli", suggesting that homophobia is a form of "latent homosexuality where persons are either unaware of or deny their homosexual urges". These findings have prompted the gay rights group OutRage! to write to a cross-section of 20 homophobic MPs challenging them to take Prof. Adams's test to counter suggestions that their anti-gay voting record might be evidence of repressed homosexuality. "We're inviting the MPs to get their honourable members tested", says Marina Cronin of OutRage! "Some doctors are getting us a plethysmograph and they're willing to help us administer the test". The MPs OutRage! has written to include many of the usual suspects: Matthew Banks, Henry Bellingham, Rhodes Boyson, Sebastian Coe, Terry Dicks, Nigel Evans, Michael Forsyth, Harry Greenway, Edward Heath, Michael Heseltine, Peter Lilley, Tony Marlow, James Molyneaux, Fergus Montgome

POPSThe kind of bravery that changes the world. It is this type of willingness and desire for change that can be a catalyst for revolution. I imagine it is what Americans felt as they fought the British in the revolutionary war. I applaud people who are so desperate for freedom that they are willing to risk physical harm and even death in the hopes of achieving it for themselves and future generations.
