POPSFISK: "Even I question the 'truth' about 9/11"
....– whose melting point is supposed to be about 1,480C – would snap through at the same time? (They collapsed in 8.1 and 10 seconds.) What about the third tower – the so-called World Trade Centre Building 7 (or the Salmon Brothers Building) – which collapsed in 6.6 seconds in its own footprint at 5.20pm on 11 September? Why did it so neatly fall to the ground when no aircraft had hit it? The American National Institute of Standards and Technology was instructed to analyse the cause of the destruction of all three buildings. They have not yet reported on WTC 7. Two prominent American professors of mechanical engineering – very definitely not in the "raver" bracket – are now legally challenging the terms of reference of this final report on the grounds that it could be "fraudulent or deceptive". Journalistically, there were many odd things about 9/11. Initial reports of reporters that they heard "explosions" in the towers – which could well have been the beams cracking – are easy to

POPSG.W. does the Flip Flop The first statement is the most recent. Bush has gone from telling us that OBL is the #1 terrorist in the world , to he's not important, back to .we've gotta get 'em. Oh, and now the "most dangerous man in the world" is on dialysis. Tough to find him though.

POPSConveluded Pope: Either Evil or Dillusional Sandro Tuxa, leader of a coalition of Indian tribes in Brazil's impoverished northeast, declared: "We repudiate the Pope's comments. To say the cultural decimation of our people represents a purification is offensive, and frankly, frightening" Murdering 89% of a population is ungodly. In light of the context, that sounds like a threat. Your thoughts and pops are welcome.

POPSPredicting (but not preventing) Catastrophism Ivor and his team sought tenaciously—at times desperately—to have their warnings heeded by government officials. Nobody listened. "A slow-moving Category 3 hurricane or larger will flood the city. There will be between 17 and 20 feet of standing water, and New Orleans as we now know it will no longer exist." —Ivor van Heerden, October 29, 2004

POPSElectronic Paper The Holy Grail of electronic ink technology is a digital book that can typeset itself and that readers could leaf through just as if it were made of regular paper. Such a book could be programmed to display the text from Ernest Hemingway's "The Old Man and the Sea," and once you've finished that tale, you could automatically replace it by wirelessly downloading a different book. You may be able to alternate between 10 books or more. Your newspaper would be impacted greatly. No more paper boy. Just download the Wall Street Journal to your EPD.
