POPSAmericans Turn to Youtube for War Movies During WWII, Hollywood was on America's side. In stark contrast, today's celebrities get more coverage if they take the Sean Penn/Susan Sarandon et al position, speaking at demonstrations with United for Peace and Justice and appearing alongside Code Pink marxists. Any shred of patriotism or love of country is spurned in Hollywood today. But there are consequences. As Van Helsing points out, "Hollyweenies are too drunk on moonbattery to realize that movies on Iraq acknowledging Americans as the good guys could make them some money". It goes far beyond money, though. People are turning the boob tube off, and theatres screening anti-war marxist/leninist/Stalinist Hollywood tripe are empty.

POPSMilitary Deaths near Peacetime Levels But you'll never hear this from the media. From the Jun 29, 2007 report done by the Congressional Research Service. Guys like Harry Reid would never refer to numbers like this, it would destroy their doom and gloom campaign.

POPSMoonbat protester: My union made me come here That's no surprise; whether they know it or not, their organizations reflect the same ideology as the Socialist Workers Party, et al. Of COURSE they would ally themselves with radical socialist, anarchist and communist groups.
2
POPSHamnation: Out-truthing the Truthers Truthers are wacked out conspiracy theorists along the lines of United For Peace and Justice, International ANSWER, Code Pink and the rest. The fact that their stupidity gets so much airplay without identifying the perps is disgusting. This is a great collection which shows the sentiments of the American people about ground zero who haven't lost their minds.

POPSThe Peace (Studies) Racket Remarkable that the Cindy Sheehan Code Pink-style radicals are suggesting such a thing, not to mention that it should be attached to the President's cabinet.

POPSUseful Idiot season Well of course this sounds like our current commie propagandists...and it is, although the media and others seem to avoid the term, a tactic which was known some years ago as communist propaganda - LIES - to fit the political goal. It is a coward's position, and is not based in fact or reason. I was thinking the other day about how someone like Scott Beauchamp lied about war crimes of his fellow soldiers, yet he is hailed as a hero by the left. That is their cowardly position; hating the military and looking for ways to discredit, malign and derail the mission. To hell with the consequences, they have an election coming up! And God forbid the Republicans or the chickenhawks should be RIGHT about this...we have to make sure that everyone thinks they're WRONG by depicting them as bloodthirsty savages. Even though the soldiers who are dying are our neighbors, our sons, daughters, nieces, nephews, cousins, etc.-if not our own kids, they're the kids next door. Shameful.

POPSyeah...there are no commies in Korea... I have a reader at my blog who might be interested in this...lol...considering the heated debated about communists in Korea. It just seems strange to me that the communist fist that those captive were holding in the air - which seemed like the obvious sign of the labour - socialist groups - and even the Black Panthers - went unnoticed and unrecognized by people. Waddya know, there are "peace" activists even in Korea. And just like when Code Pink is standing alongside Cindy Sheehan or represented very visibly behind Valerie Plame when she was testilying before Congress...the media doesn't bother to identify who these people are. SHOCK.

POPSInteresting article But the only reason he's going after her now is because she's going after Pelosi. This is his previous completely sympathetic article on Sheehan. http://www.irishecho.com/newspaper/story.cfm?id=16959

POPSCindy confronted by Bush supporter It's something that happened in Cambodia after we left Vietnam, yet the anti-war Activists who claimed they cared so much about those people never shed a tear for millions killed at the hands of the Khmer Rouge. There is every reason to believe history will repeat itself in Iraq.

POPSI knew Murtha reminded me of someone... Of course, the news has emerged that it was recommended by the investigator that the charges against those marines be dropped. It hasn't precipitated an apology by Murtha's office yet, though.

POPSMore on Murtha running for cover; Haditha Marines The marines should all be set free, based on Paul Ware's report and recommendations. I don't see any way in hell that these men can be convicted now. But I do have a concern about Murtha's interfering with their constitutional right to a fair trial, given his 'marines killed innocent Iraqis in cold blood' hyperbole before he'd even been briefed. While they use the word CONSTITUTION, they ignore it and make things up; that's why they want to get rid of the electoral college.

POPSThe myth of low enlisting numbers It's amazing that the media would go so far as to push the misconception that military recruiting is low. Most of our guys know what's at stake, unlike the rest of the country. Amy Proctor is a military wife, and knows the scoop. Check out the rest of what she has there about the leftist myths promulgated by the MSM and the facts that rebut them.

POPSMurtha runs for the hills The recommendation is that the charges be dropped. But Murtha, supported by Marxists like Code Pink and Cindy Sheehan, will have none of that! And those are his wacky nutbase.
