POPS61 ex-Guantanamo inmates return to terrorism Now how do you like that. We had them all nice and locked up and we let them go, right back to terrorism. Wanna bet that there will be a public outcry of "why did we let them go!?" whenever one of these guys kills a bunch of people. Best part is that it will probably be by the same people who protested us keeping them there in the first place.

POPSSugary Soda Tax Ehh, not sure what to think about this. On one hand it certainly did well for me to drastically reduce my soda intake a few years ago (lost 10 lbs in 2 months by just cutting out sugary drinks) but on the other hand it is up to individuals to control themselves not the government. But, Americans are increasingly stupid about their dietary choices. Check out the rest of the clip at the link.

POPSSimpsons porn.... Illegal????? I'm not condoning this type of thing but the fact that someone could be convicted of a crime because of it is utterly ridiculous. People make drawings of all kinds of crazy stuff, does this mean that the next time an animator kills someone in a cartoon that they should be tried for murder?!?! Because if as the article says "Justice Michael Adams ruled a fictional cartoon character was a "person" " then there are a LOT of people out there in a LOT of trouble. If they had found genuine child pornography on this guys computer then I would say this was all well and fine, but characters such as the Simpsons don't exactly closely resemble real people. It may point to something deeper with this person or it may not, but the law is not supposed to convict on speculation.
