POPSLad Lit This appears to be the more PC term for Dick Lit. Judging from the definition, it sounds exactly like Chick Lit. Although, maybe that's just because Hugh Grant has been cast as a leading man in film adaptations of both Helen Fielding's and Nick Hornby's books.

POPS"Dick-Lit"? I was reading an interview in which Chick Lit authors were as asked if they thought the term Chick Lit was condescending. Meg Cabot wrote, I don't think the term is as bad as Dick Lit, which is what Nick Hornsby writes. I had never heard the term "Dick Lit" before, so I had to look it up.

POPSFavourite Science-esque Children's Books ScienceBlog contributors were asked: Are there any children's books that are dear to you, either as a child or a parent, and especially ones that perhaps strike a chord with those from a science sensibility? Just curious really. And it doesn't have to be a picture book, doesn't even have to be a children's book - just a book that, for whatever reason, worked for you.
