POPSTimid Governments allow vandals to wreck forests! Governments around the World consistently "shy away" from taking powerful vested interests to court. It makes a complete mockery of our system and it threatens our future. The last thing the World needs now is more Global Warming in this case brought about by politicians producing "hot air" rather than action!

POPSMany regimes are playing lip service to conservation Many regimes are now trying to tap the rising concern of the public in a devious way. These regimes simply have found a new ploy to orchestrate a situation which will be see biodiversity wrecked and a new method of exploiting natural resources. At the same time they present a facade to the public which is designed to deceive!

POPSFood shortages are an indictment When the developed nations begin to struggle imagine the plight of those in places like Darfur. These poor people have been totally reliant on the goodwill of the developed countries - now what?

POPSThis article on our food supply is timely Wealthy nations have seen them feel quite unconcerned about the Earth's ability to grow enough food - but that is about to change. It is clear from spiraling prices that food production is entering a critical phase and that increasing numbers will be affected badly. The Third World, in the face of such shortages, appears doomed to even harsher times. We are very poor stewards of our planet!

POPSHas the World gone crazy? We deplete oil, we sacrifice our rainforests, denude and wreck our agricultural land, we see basic food prices disenfranchise the poor - we simply are failing miserably to see the folly of our ways.

POPSBio-fuels are a disaster We are wrecking our rainforests and depleting our agricultural land while fueling astronomic fuel increases to keep gas guzzling vehicles on the road - it's crazy!

POPSJapan's corruption exposed! "Buying off" small cash-strapped nations is a rotten trick and Japan now is standing naked and exposed. It is not a pretty sight!

POPSGreat development in energy from waste Algae has immense potential and it grows in abundance as it often fouls waterways carrying excessive pollutants. Harvest the algae, purify the streams and we have a win win situation Mankind must learn to work WITH nature - not fight it!

POPSJapanese now getting desperate It is clear the Japanese whalers are becoming frustrated and this is when things can happen very quickly. Sea Shepherd is resolute however in the face of the might of Japan and I admire the protesters tenacity.

POPSWe really must protect our remaining rainforests. The World is poised to totally wreck its delicate ecosystem and the results could be catastrophic to us all. Already Mother Nature is expressing its anger in a multitude of ways as can be plainly seen to all but the myopic amongst us. The next few years are pivotal in that we have to arrest the sheer momentum of destruction and learn to live with nature as opposed to fighting it. To fight Mother Nature is to lose we are mere pawns and if you doubt that then look to the heavens on a starlit night - Nature when challenged can be ruthless.

POPSBiofuel is a new craze but no saviour! We are being conned as biofuels gobble up our rainforests and valuable agricultural land. In typical fashion, mankind is reaching out for an "instant cure" - a pill to pop mentality without getting to root causes and enlightened answers! As in fresh water supplies and minerals we are seeing the vested interests hell-bent on fleecing society of its natural wealth. These elements don't give a damn as they "line their pockets" at the cost to society generally!

POPSThe Japanese cry foul - what a joke! Japan has been trying every dirty, devious "trick" for years in its bid to keep whaling now it expects nations to deter a committed, but more enlightened, group to desist. Well done Sea Shepherd give the Japanese whalers every reasonable action you can deliver!

POPSBiofuels offer potential but ....... As the World's prime agricultural land shrinks along with our ability to feed the hordes of starving millions we have to question the thrust of developments. We have to ensure we don't overcome one problem to create and even bigger one. Mankind seems very adept at doing just that!

POPSBig business has to have some honesty! Big business is, increasingly, using supposed green initiatives to market their wares. It is often a case where this disguises true intent and the public should not be succoured.

POPSJapan is a callous vandal - watch folks! There is no question that Japan has been "caught out" in its acts of barbaric and unenlightened whaling practices. Hence their reaction to the release of the graphic images. Japan prefers to drop a cloak over its operations and simply with uniform or misinform the public. It tries to lie its way using the guise of "research". Japanese trade needs to be targeted by World consumers. It starts with us all!
