Excellent excellent read / article. Especially that last couple of paragraphs regarding suggestions of hidden cost from cell phone companies legislation. Sounds good to me. Just ask yourself when you're shopping for a new cell phone: "Do you want an iPhone, or an HTC Hero and a 50-inch plasma TV?" LOL I LOVE IT!

Comics: Gas Prices
bookchick49
by bookchick49  7-14-2006
Update 8/24/06: I just viewed this and it isn't the comic strip "of the day" that I clipped it. But you can enter the date of this clip in their search feature at the Yahoo Comic site and view the original comic in the results. It should be a comic regarding the topic of gasoline prices.

IBM outsourcing since 2004
bookchick49
by bookchick49  6-7-2006
This is what I'm talking about: "Most of the new positions will be created in developing economies such as China and India, where the company is already exporting 3,000 US jobs in an effort to cut costs." "But IBM stressed it was not turning its back on the US." right! And ice cream isn't fattening
