The consciousness problem: if there was a robot which would act equally inteligently and emotionally like you or me, then would it(she,he) be conscious of its (his, her) being, feelings and thinks? Can selfawareness be programmed? In my view, it can. Can unique needs for human race be programmed? In my opinion, they can. And how do you think? There is some basic ontological difference between a human and a human-like robot? Will the question ever be empirically verifiable? Or maybe there is not any problem at all for you because you are convinced that there isn't any essential difference between a human & a robot? I am interested what philosophers say about the problem. regards
