Bush's Final Report Card: Biggest Spender Since LBJ
    blueridge
    by blueridge  12-26-2009
Fair and balanced analysis from Cato Institute. Republicans need to confess this if they expect to have any credibility in criticizing Obama's liberal spending. The American people are sick of bi-partisan lying and hypocritical finger-pointing Obama's first report card, where all spending is under his watch, will not be available until next year, 2010 (which should be a doozy too). President George W. Bush’s last year was fiscal 2009. Outlays that year were $3.522 trillion, according to the CBO. However, $108 billion was spending for the 2009 economic stimulus package passed under President Obama. Bush was thus roughly responsible for $3.414 trillion of spending in 2009, which includes outlays for the financial bailouts enacted under his watch.

A reprobate is in charge of "safe schools"! Jennings is not qualified, and should be immediately removed. This editorial requires public attention, and immediate call for action. Contributing to the delinquency of minors is a crime in every state, and to condone it from within the Obama administration is scandalous. Where are the "ethics" committees? This is an outrage, and reflects directly upon the President's judgment! Pedophilia is a crime!

Barack W. Bush--Obama's "Preventive War" in Afghanistan, Neocons Applaud

Obushma's Afghanistan war policy--the BUSH DOCTRINE CONTINUES. The word "terrorism" was hardly invoked, but "essential for our national interests....and attacks on our HOMELAND" implied the same thing. It's still all about the 9/11, and only the rhetoric has changed slightly. But this war is not about "national interests", but International (Globalist) interests. Obama is a Puppet for the globalist agenda as much as Bush was to the neoconservative agenda for "global hegemony". See Rachel Maddow's MSNBC video analysis about Obama's Nobel Peace Prize and proof that the Bush Doctrine continues. Powerful analysis. The real purpose of Af-Pak war policy is here .

OBushma policy: No 'change' here in this "war of necessity", per Obama. (Never blindly trust a government that uses this phrase, as if to shut down all opposition and end all questioning). This "war of necessity" is merely the parroting the same fear-mongering, unproven, baseless propaganda the GOP is claiming here too: President Barack Obama: "This is not a war of choice. This is a war of necessity. Those who attacked America on 9/11 are plotting to do so again. right...we heard the same fear-mongering from Bush. I thought this was all going to "change" (not really).

While justly railing against Bush, Obama has done the same in regard to warrantless surveillance (see Cato article). The Constitution and Bill of Rights, our liberties, are still being trampled. This is proof he broke his promise and is no savior of American liberties. Need more? Look at how much like Bush and Cheney he is here from WSJ: Obama Channels Cheney Obama adopts Bush view on the powers of the presidency.

Satire, yet so true, in that Obama went thru the private school route, like so many of the elite in Washington who tout "public education" and "stay in school"--for everybody else that is. It is also very presumptuous for any president to think that a) the schools belong to the federal government (they are state and county run), and b) that the President can by-pass parents and speak directly to their children, for whom they are solely responsible. Only communist governments think the children belong to them, thus a clear mark of the Collectivist State Parent is manifest . This is Marxism 101.

So that Afghan women can go to school and boys and girls can fly kites (the Bush era propaganda)? Why does Obama get a pass, but Bush did not? "Stabilization" was only necessary because of the US-led insurgency to topple the previous government, which had no connection (no hard evidence, just propaganda) to 9/11 either!      Even the left's Maddow sees past his stagecraft with excellent analysis provided, including a Film clip from Minority Report (Tom Cruise film)--a perfect illustration. How come so many others are still blind? The history of tyranny is one of its subtlety in coming under other pretenses and "necessary" measures. Obama is NOT "Mr. Constitution" but proposes a tyrannical new power which he is "developing a new legal framework for" PREVENTIVE DETENTION (contrary to the Constitution) . This will effect American lives, but is being constructed around "terrorism" in the context of strictly foreigners to sell it. Worth watching, though dated, very important. The principle is precisely the same as Bush's PREVENTIVE WAR , where America attacks on the basis of pure suspicion (read propaganda and lies), before any hostile actions are done.

With all the rationale and logic of hunting mosquito's with howitzers the fraudulent "war on terrorism" is being expanded , increased, both in arms and foreign aid for Pakistan (more billions). The mistake of Democrats was in limiting their criticism of unjust war only to Iraq, while Af-Pak wars also have false justifications.      Propaganda tactics, like "WMD claims" about Iraq, are being used to drive or justify (already preset) military agenda for a Pakistan war front. This is precisely like the same "fixing the intelligence around the policy" used for Iraq --alarmist, "apocalyptic intelligence", to justify what Obama "must do" as a CFR puppet for continuing a "war on terrorism" for global democracy. 9/11 continues to be the justification for "changing everything" and continue wars for "regime change" and more "preventive wars". Are small groups in Pakistan really a threat to Western Civilization? No one could rationally believe this paranoid propaganda. America was less afraid of the Soviet Union than this, and not one shot was fired to stop the Cold War. This is also why another "bin Laden tape" was released this last week.      The first clips reveal Obama's new policy, to which Robert Gates gives evidence, and the American Enterprise Institute (arm of the Israeli Lobby) confidently announces (as if they run the Obama administration). This was the exact blueprint of the neonconservative think tank, Project for a New American Century --who ran the Bush administration's foreign policy from within--and is proven by their own infamous document (clip 3) called Rebuilding America's Defenses, which the policy parrots: LARGE WARS...the United States must retain sufficient forces able to rapidly deploy and win multiple simultaneous large-scale wars and also to be able to respond to unanticipated contingencies in regions where it does not maintain forward-based forces. This resembles the “two-war” standard that has been the basis of U.S. force planning over the past decade. Will Obama Support Inquiry into Unconstitutional Bush Policies?

...or not? The Bush Memos are creating pressure. Answer: No, he will find a way not to or a distraction to avoid it (like war). Obama is covering for Bush instead of "defending the Constitution of the United States", as he swore (as did the Usurper, Bush, too). These CFR members and elite cover for each other (its in their secret oaths), just like Pelosi (also CFR) said "impeachment is off the table" as soon as Democrats had a majority (power) in Congress and could. The only way Obama would "support" this important Constitutional investigation is if he established an "independent commission" much like the phony 911 Commission to cover it all up, or bury it in legal mumbo jumbo. Time to remove the partisan blindfolds. If Obama does not support this then he is obstructing justice and aiding and abetting Bush's abuse of Executive power, and would also therefore be just as untrustworthy.

Byrd is the senior Senator and third in line of succession, therefore worthy of this counsel. If Obama does not heed him, of the same party, it will speak volumes. There is apparent reference to Obama's Justice Dept. which raised the issue of Executive Privilege itself to thwart investigation of the Bush administration in court. (See my Clipmark Obama Administration is Covering for Bush Administration ). Not a good sign, and all too familiar, which smacks of rule by Secrecy. Is there anything more anti-American, in the Constitution, than appointing "Czars"--unaccountable heads of agencies to do whatever they please? Apparently the 1 million deaths of Iraqi civilians is not enough blood for the bipartisan war-mongers who have bought the neoconservative line of wars for "regime change" , nor the hidden death count of Afghans and Pakis thus far (with women and children). This propaganda campaign and ruse, domestically, has been real expensive, and as long as there is a war in Iraq and Afghanistan and strikes in Pakistan (which Obama continues) merely renaming it will make little difference. Clinton carried out wars abroad without having a major campaign title. US covert military actions have actually retained an almost constant state of "war" without Congressional declarations. The domestic costs of the 'war on terrorism' have distracted state and local police from the very great and real threat of "normal" crimes which have been overlooked while the "terrorism" threat has been grossly Overblown and law enforcement inefficiently deployed and side-tracked with nonsense training and equipment, and increased federal debt

Speaking of the Israel/Gaza "crisis", he says that Obama's task should be to "develop an overall strategy for America", and that "a new world order can be created... it's a great opportunity"! This demonstrates that the "war on terrorism" is really all about this global scheme, the same "new world order" that George H. W. Bush first mentioned publicly in a speech coincidentally on Sept. 11, 1990 (precisely 11 years to the day before 9/11) , Clinton, George W. Bush, Tony Blair, and many others have talked about publicly. It is their dominant theme. Note Kissinger says Israel is "the most important" issue, but refers to other potential tensions, and "jihadists". So both republican and democrat Presidents, now including Obama, are moving toward the same new world order , which the neoconservatives had termed "benevolent global hegemony" led by the U.S..
