Another Terrorist Kangaroo Trial With alot at Stake
    blueridge
    by blueridge  7-21-2008    1
So the government caught bin Laden's driver, we are told to believe, but yet they lost bin Laden? Right! It's all a lie and another show trial for a fictitious account to justify a fake war for regime changes. It is not only Mr Hamdan's future that will be determined by the trial. There is great concern among members of the Bush administration that they too could find themselves before foreign or international courts for the role they played in facilitating and encouraging the torture of detainees. The infamous "torture memos" circulated by Vice-President Dick Cheney's chief of staff, Charles Addington, and two former administration figures, Douglas Feith and Alberto Gonzales, covertly approved the abuse of prisoners by the CIA. These men were publicly warned recently by Lawrence Wilkerson, chief of staff to Colin Powell when Mr Powell was Secretary of State, to "never travel outside the US

Bush, Mukasey, Cheney Claim Exec Privilege, Obstructing in Plame Case

But the Executive has no "privilege" to violate the law, nor to obstruct justice. And Cheney, by his own words, is not part of the "executive branch". Mukasey, the new AG replacing Alberto (Speedy) Gonzales, shows why he was chosen by Bush, i.e. to continue to obstruct justice. As even republican federal prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald said on the Plame case, "a cloud hangs over the VP office", and Scott McClellan just opened up and published his account that Bush personally admitted authorizing the Plame leak! This is stonewalling to avoid prosecution for a "high crime" worthy of impeachment by George and Dick both.

US Military and Gov't Resisting Iran Conflict

"Red light": The military brass are resisting, even with Admiral Fallon out. The consequences would be huge, including on gas prices, military drain, and upheaval in the entire middle east if Iran was attacked by Israel with US support. Even Secretary of Defense Gates said : "There is a lot of signalling going on. But I think everybody recognises what the consequences of any kind of a conflict would be," Gates said. Problem: hard to contain Israel and the neoconservative administration, namely Cheney who is a rogue operative with Israel. ( Sources said that Cheney was behind the B-52 nuke displacement scandal, by-passing normal chain of command).

Iraq Might Force US to Leave; US Imperial Plans Revealed
    blueridge
    by blueridge  6-14-2008    5
It's about sovereignty vs. imperialism. And this article reveals the neocon administration's real designs for Iraq--a forward base in the Middle East for "regime change": American negotiators presented a draft that would have given the U.S. access to 58 military bases, control of Iraqi airspace and immunity from prosecution for both U.S. soldiers and private contractors. In other words, a free military hand, both inside and outside Iraq, and making use of their bases. So "Reconstruction" is really about making Iraq like the Philippines with a permanent military presence for global strategic interests for spreading "democracy" through military coercion against "rogue states" (i.e. states that defend their sovereignty) against US and UN interventionism toward a global PAX AMERICANA.

Must-hear interview. The Bush administration cannot deny the claims from this insider. It is also interesting to hear the questions put to him by some good reporters in the run up to Iraq that the MSM decided not to let us hear! Hard evidence for wrong doing in the administration and he is about to testify before the Judiciary committee on the CIA leak of Plame, by Rove, Libby, and likely orchestrated by Cheney. Also how the White House Iraq Group used the NY Times as their primary propaganda conduit, including Judith Miller. Great podcast (have to listen to other news first before interview).

Senate Panel Rebukes Bush/Cheney on Iraq War Propaganda

Powerful statement and true: the administration repeatedly presented intelligence as fact when in reality it was unsubstantiated, contradicted, or even nonexistent But note this: The report amounts to the most direct rebuke to date of the Bush administration's use of intelligence to build support for the Iraq war. But the document, which catalogs hundreds of statements by administration officials, stops short of calling for any further inquiry or punishment. Is not this grounds for impeachment--misleading a nation, and Congress, to go to war? What! All this misleading and lying, but no accountability?

Welcome to Neocon Studios: Another production from those who brought you the Iraq War. The editor's notes at start set the stage as the author traces it through. Allegedly US and Israel struck Syria with war planes a while back claiming it was a nuclear weapons program targeted and tied to North Korea. The intelligence, compiled by none other than Israel, has now been released. The evidence just happens to be "fixed around the policy" to go to war, just like Iraq, and before Bush's terms is out.      Bush is not the primary problem when it comes to the Iraq and middle east wars. The problem is the neoconservatives and Israeli Lobby that will CONTINUE to influence or control U.S. government unless they are excluded from power. Election 2008 will change NOTHING about war without changing the real parties of power behind the Executive Branch and within the Pentagon and at the threshold of Congress. Of course this is why Cheney in particular is pushing to spark wars with Iran, Syria, and Lebanon before leaving office, so that a transition opposing war will not be an option, and the agenda hastened.

Read this classic entirely from the British MP in 2003. It details the neocon blueprint, from the Project for a New American Century, including the suspicious nature of the 9/11 "attacks". The neocon blueprint he refers to in this article was written in Sept. 2000, one year prior to 9/11, the "catalyzing event like a new Pearl Harbor" that precisely fit their own words, perfectly, to justify execution of the plan. It's plain evidence of a conspiracy, well documented. Republishing this here because too many have still not seen this or forgot about it.

Funny how surveillance cameras are being heralded by government as able to provide definitive proof of crimes and perpetrators, yet they do not stick with such video evidence when it comes to the official story of 9/11. Instead you must believe their version, even if the video contradicts or fails to support it.      "Operation Iraqi Freedom"? For saving Iraqi's from tyranny, the U.S. war machine has sure killed alot of them. This research firm now has provided further confirmation of similar previous research on deaths of Iraqis. They were not "insurgents" or "terrorists" either. Unjust war is in fact murder, and blood-guilt is upon all who applauded the invasion and war, even under the meaningless slogan of "support our troops". The U.S. invasion of Iraq was a slaughter, and people should lookup Fallujah as an example of indiscriminate killings, and consider how Americans would react if another country invaded us for "regime change", and whether they would bow to occupation and invasion or plant IEDs themselves.

Consider the hypocrisy of accusing Iraq of WMDs, or Iran of nuclear technology, while they knew that Pakis (an ally) were selling nuclear technology to "rogue states". It is also interesting that Pakistan was the place where the CIA was training Islamists in the 90s which later they labeled Al Qaeda. Meanwhile, as the article show, billions of US dollars are literally given to Pakistan for "aid" while they do all this? Pakistan appears to be the conduit for creating enemies which then are used to justify U.S. wars against "rogue regimes". By the way, it was the CIA that provided Iran over a decade ago with technology to begin nuclear development.

Read the entire article, which traces the path through investigative articles, relying primarily on the relationship between the former head of the CIA "Bin Laden Unit" (now closed), and his book, with bin Laden himself (who is has been dead awhile). Agent provocateurs are used to provoke, incite, and start conflicts for political ends. The CIA's hand in developing what they later labeled Al Qaeda (and bin Laden was a former CIA asset) is a classic case of creating an enemy, training them, covertly, then (as with Saddam in Iraq), turning the tables and justifying war against them.

Bhutto Assasination and Paki "Regime Change" Agenda
    blueridge
    by blueridge  12-29-2007
It was the CIA who helped Musharraf into power by coupe in 1999, who benefits most from Bhutto's assassination. The typical "militant Islam" and "Al Qaeda did it" propaganda being played by Musharraf government is highly incredulous, and the people are not believing the official story for a minute, while it is being played heavily in the U.S. to propagate the "war on terrorism" in order to continue global "regime change". The assassination of Bhutto represents classical "destabilization" tactics employed in history to radically alter governments. Musharraf benefits most from her assassination, along with the Anglo-American interests, and probably cement his power--until the people rise up against him in what should only be expected as "blow-back". Odds are he will again declare Martial Law, and begin iron fist rule, perhaps without suspension this time.
