Obama and McCain Both Changing Now
    blueridge
    by blueridge  7-12-2008
The Maverick is not and the "Change" candidate is shifting. Politicians are like Chameleons, changing color depending their context to fit in. Trustworthiness and forthrightness are not to be found, and considered detrimental to obtaining power, ironically, when most Americans want to reverse the present course without question, instead of simply tailoring and amending it. Don't think the BBC article is correct about McCain however, he is shifting left, distancing from Bush, since republicans are left without an alternative (except for increasing third party candidates).

McCain's Image Campaign: "I Hate War" (You believe me don't you?)
    blueridge
    by blueridge  6-24-2008
Soft, sentimental music plays with this message. Playing now on a TV near you, including in small states like West Virginia as well as those listed as "battle grounds". This is quite a contrast to his "Bom, bom, bom...bomb, bomb Iran" to the Beach Boys segment here. Will the real John McCain please stand up? Going into war with Iraq had nothing to do with "keeping the country I love safe", whatsoever, unless you still believe Iraq was behind 9/11 and possessed WMD. These are neoconservative wars planned in advance of 9/11 and James Woolsey and Bill Kristol (key neocon and PNAC members) are among his advisers, and his foreign policy is called "rogue state roll-back"--i.e. more wars for democracy!

John McCain's foreign policy exposed by Cato Institute podcast (about 7 minutes). Dangerous "Rogue State Roll-back" foreign policy which is Wilsonian and militaristic, even taking more aggressive positions toward China and Russia. Objective non-partisan analysis that shows the dangerous consequences of McCain's view of spreading democracy by force and arming dissident groups in countries to overthrow their governments.

Obama, The Secret Six, and Black Liberation Theology--Civil War Continues
    blueridge
    by blueridge  4-3-2008    2
Obama has come under closer scrutiny due to his close association with, and membership in the church of, his pastor Rev. Jeremiah Wright who teaches what is being exposed as radical Black Liberation Theology, which under pretense of religion, advocates revolutionary agenda that has its roots in the abolitionist terrorist John Brown and the (much unknown) Secret Six who started "red republicanism", which fomented the so-called Civil War. People should read more about this and they will see that Jeremiah Wright, and even the lesser radicalism of Obama (or is it less?) is part of the same agenda of continued social revolution, violent or by lesser means of coercion. A black theologian at Covenant Theological Seminary has written articles, and been on TV, showing the Marxist Roots of Black Liberation Theology .

McCain as President Would be a Megalomaniac
    blueridge
    by blueridge  2-4-2008    1
This article appeared in The American Conservative Magazine which just endorsed Ron Paul. The "maverick" McCain appears to have changed his positions in light of personal ambitions, which also smacks of Willard Milton Romney. This formerly tortured POW (something that psychologists testify of full well leads to a corresponding pathological abuse of others in return) could become a global meglomaniac that would make Bush look like a pacifist, hard as it is to imagine. The neocons, from the left originally, will love him.

Barack who advocates "change" is also a CFR member. Both the democrat and republican establishment, with variations, are leading the same direction. His absolute allegiance to Israel (therefore the Israeli Lobby) is here documented, which is the basis for the middle east conflicts and the neocon agenda. One should be concerned when William Kristol (neocon PNAC member) gives plugs for Obama. Hillary is being supported by Rupert Murdoch of FOX. Edwards is a member of Bilderberg.      See this Politico article. The real purpose of him dropping out will be to consolidate the pro-war votes behind fewer neocon, neo-republican candidates to prevent Ron Paul from beating them. Methinks Huckabee has proved himself to be the lead social conservative (hypocritical, tax-raising, unjust war waging) republican candidate to satisfy the "powers that be". Ron Paul benefited most by Thompson's entry by diluting votes from Romney and Giuliani, bringing Paul closer. McCain does not have a prayer of winning.

The Huckster is fooling naive conservatives (hiding his record on increasing taxes more than Clinton in Arkansas). Zogby says Ron Paul will exceed expectations, beat some "front runners" in Iowa, do well in New Hampshire, while his message continues to grow, and his free market economic message comes at no better time when the country is beginning to succumb to the inevitable consequences of massive government spending under a republican administration.

War Costs $15 Billion per Month, Says GOP Senator

And how is this being paid for? It's not. The national debt is over $9 trillion, and the republicans and democrats never talk of how this will be paid for. Yet republicans complain about Big Government while this administration sets records for spending, and the "leading candidates" plan to "stay the course" while paying lip service to "excessive spending". Excessive spending means the Fed prints more money, the dollar is devalued, and leads directly to inflationary prices based upon increasingly worthless dollars (while your dollar revenues from employment remain the same).

But they offer no concrete proposals as does Ron Paul, and their cheer leading for "optimism" (blue-blood Romney) is a denial of the severity of the problem that Americans already realize. Ron Paul offers the real solution to eliminate the Income Tax, cut the Federal government back to Constitutional limits, and stop excessive spending, particularly on a trillion dollar war policy.

Rudy also thinks that someone planned the lightening strikes during the first republican debate while he was telling his position on abortion, since the timing was just too coincidental. Rudy has alot of skeletons in his closet, but any time they come out it is part of a conspiracy, rather than his own past catching up to him. Scrutinizing Romney--Supporters False-flagging "Bigotry" Calls?
    blueridge
    by blueridge  11-23-2007
This excellent Blogometer article scrutinizes Romney through major blogs. Willard Milton Romney is a crafty silver-spooner who has played the anti-Mormon legitimate concern into a "bigotry" and "feel sorry for me" campaign. It would be stupid to not consider any candidates personal beliefs, and the true history of Mormonism which he has defended, as consideration of a man's rational capacity and ideological principles. Note the final part of the clip demonstrates Romney is really unprincipled, a vote-seeker, who speaks on an issue what the voters want to hear.......UNTIL HE GETS INTO OFFICE! No one like this could be trusted, period. The article page also writes that Fred Thompson is "dropping like a rock in the Granite State".

Fred Thompson has completely failed to attract any consistent strong support. He was more popular before he officially came out to "run", which many have called a "stroll" for the presidency. Giuliani's record and ties with corrupt friends is causing others to step away. His anti-gun record is horrible, which in the end will cost him any chance of winning. Romney, Giuliani, and Thompson are ALL members of the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) which pushes a global socialist agenda and a North American Union, largely under the influence and founder David Rockefeller.

Reading the fine print from Zogby shows the margin of error is up to 5 percent, which makes the entire status up in the air other than Romney. Ron Paul voters also are not represented by typical poll skewing toward land lines. It's early still, but trends are emerging. Romney will not maintain this high lead as advertising kicks in and more about him is known (i.e. CFR member, signed socialist mandatory health insurance bill in Mass). FOX Pimps Giuliani, Fired Publisher to Protect Rudy
    blueridge
    by blueridge  11-14-2007
Giuliani was Kerik's "mentor", who pushed him for the anti-constitutional office of Homeland Tyranny (aka Security). Kerik (married) had affair with publisher Regan. News Corporation (FOX) fires Regan who wrote things potentially damaging to Giuliani (she knows more about Giuliani from her relationship with Kerik). Now about that affair, it was conducted at a very special place, at Ground Zero (Rudy's ground): the relationship had ended and shortly after Mr. Kerik’s homeland security nomination fell apart, newspapers reported that the two had carried on the affair at an apartment near ground zero that had been donated as a haven for rescue and recovery workers. There is a "protection racket" around "Godfather" Giuliani which includes FOX. Just another reason that Giuliani would be America's worst nightmare if he gained the White-washed House on Pennsylvania Ave.

Giuliani Does Vegas, Talks Up Televangelist Support

This article is almost humorous, if it wasn't so serious. The juxtaposition of "Godfather" Giuliani stumping in Las Vegas, with key "business leaders" (why does this seem like Mafia to me?) crows about his endorsement from a televangelist, Pat Robertson. Just another example of how Rudy USES religion as a cloak! Indeed, Robertson and him do share values: i.e. lying, corruption, love of money, untrustworthiness, and love of power at any price. Hopefully this will discredit Robertson, the false-prophet, too. So Rudy bought himself an evangelical priest (watch third party donations from New York come into the 700 club) to cover his many sins--serial adultery included. He calls all this "not being perfect" and the "complexity of human nature". The article also mentions that he admits that talk of Islamo-fascism might be an "exaggeration"; well almost admits it. And then he talks about government spending being worst problem (from an "exaggerated" need for war). He rates a 0 o

He appears to have a close knit "gang" in New York, secretive and corrupt. Kerik is also his business partner. There is also another thread here, all seem to hold the principles of another infamous Roman Catholic leader, Mussolini, and those principles are called "fascism". Giuliani hollers that he prosecuted the Mafia. Yet NYC has a reputation like Chicago, for Mafia having influence over politicians and hiding under the skirts of the Catholic Church and priests. None of them are poor either. If you also saw the television interview of Rudolph's response he says it just shows the "complexity of human nature"--i.e. Kerik is "not that bad" and will be his friend still. This is integrity of a man seeking public trust? McCain is right about his judgment, and was bold enough to say so.
