Suskind's book has provided documentation of evidence and inside witnesses within the CIA and British Intelligence sources that a fake letter was ordered "from the White House" pretending to be from Saddam's Intelligence Chief to Saddam (whom the U.S. relocated and paid $5 million to) which was laden with lies and a claim of ties between Mohammad Atta (supposed 9/11 ringleader), Al Qaeda, and Iraq--back-dated prior to 9/11--which provided deliberately false claims to connect Iraq to 9/11. The White House has denied (see previous clipmark) but award-winning journalist Suskind summarizes his sources and defends his allegations on Democracy Now (see first podcast "listen" link). The second podcast, Aug. 14, includes House Judiciary Chair John Conyers who has already started an investigation under way which will lead to some kind of action. Conyer's stated the the Senate Intelligence Committee, headed by Jay Rockefeller, has the power to review classified documents to verify this.

They do not deny there was a forged letter, if you read closely, to link Saddam to 9/11 falsely. 2. Dick Cheney (lead neocon in making the case for war, and member of the Project for New American Century blueprint for regime change in Iraq written in Sept. 2000) even admits he is not part of the Executive Branch . So the White House officially did not control this, but Cheney (who was "visiting the CIA daily", it was reported) and the neocons in the Office of Special Plans did this. Again, 9/11 was centrally used to claim to justify war with Iraq where even per Bush "Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11", yet this was the link they established to the public. 9/11 was a Neo-Con job, and this demonstrates further how they used it.

Again, lack of any concern about innocent victims of an unjust war. The mentality of Americans in 2002 before the war was, "so what...they deserve it, nuke 'em, because they are terrorists". POPSBritish Set to Leave Iraq, Abandoning US Occupation First the Aussies, now the Brits. Suddenly the US has no major "international forces" but its own to occupy Iraq. Watch, this will not be condemned by the U.S., unless they were Iraqi or Israeli. Note also they call them "Iranian Embassy employees", but they had a driver, so were they officials? Their driver was Iraqi. They might be able to describe their assailants since they lived, although the two may not, if the press will let us know their descriptions when available. There could be then two classes of dissenters, deserters who flee and those who remain, due to fear of prosecution or what others might think, who remain until their terms is up. This article mentions dissent during Clinton's wars too, which republicans justly protested against, and Bush campaigned that he would not do the same ("humble foreign policy, no policing the world", as Ron Paul reminds them). POPSNeocon "Experts" Dominate Media & Foreign Policy The key word in the clip is "supplanting", i.e. they control peoples opinions through media domination, rather than impugned University professors, as "experts" on the Middle East while their own indoctrination is formed around their political agenda, rather than knowledge of the Middle East. They also dominate the media pre-Iraq and now pre-Iran as "experts" in columns and interviews as the exclusive experts, therefore establishing the war agenda without any contrary voices intervening. This is how the public is largely influenced to support war via the media conduit. Also there are actual media "plants" who use their jobs with newspapers to control public opinion while being members of the same neocon networks. Specifically Judith Miller (NYT) is mentioned. The recent ramp-up on propaganda with Ahmadinejad is a perfect example, and where even the media itself (e.g. 60 Minutes) performed the most slanted and accusatory interviews (without evidence) in network history.

Streit in a book called UNION NOW WITH BRITAIN, which led the U.S. into WWII (after the first Pearl Harbor that FDR deliberately provoked) and also established the UN.
