Barack W. Bush--Obama's "Preventive War" in Afghanistan, Neocons Applaud
blueridge
by blueridge  12-2-2009    4
Obushma's Afghanistan war policy--the BUSH DOCTRINE CONTINUES. The word "terrorism" was hardly invoked, but "essential for our national interests....and attacks on our HOMELAND" implied the same thing. It's still all about the 9/11, and only the rhetoric has changed slightly. But this war is not about "national interests", but International (Globalist) interests. Obama is a Puppet for the globalist agenda as much as Bush was to the neoconservative agenda for "global hegemony". See Rachel Maddow's MSNBC video analysis about Obama's Nobel Peace Prize and proof that the Bush Doctrine continues. Powerful analysis. The real purpose of Af-Pak war policy is here .

Obama's Decision on Afghanistan: Surge!
blueridge
by blueridge  11-24-2009
OBushma policy: No 'change' here in this "war of necessity", per Obama. (Never blindly trust a government that uses this phrase, as if to shut down all opposition and end all questioning). This "war of necessity" is merely the parroting the same fear-mongering, unproven, baseless propaganda the GOP is claiming here too: President Barack Obama: "This is not a war of choice. This is a war of necessity. Those who attacked America on 9/11 are plotting to do so again. right...we heard the same fear-mongering from Bush. I thought this was all going to "change" (not really).

OIL: The Real Purpose for the Afghanistan War and Af-Pak Policy
blueridge
by blueridge  10-17-2009    2
It's not about "terrorism" but an oil pipeline from the Caspian region to Pakistan, thru Afghanistan. The proof is that the invasion was planned before Sept. 11th! This fact should be sufficient to establish Motive, should it not? Now you know why the Taliban and bin Laden got fingered for 9/11, instead of Saudi hijackers, etc. "It's not going to be built until there is a single Afghan government. That's the simple answer." Bush began war in the region in Oct. 2001. May 2002 the BBC reported the immediate result The leaders of Afghanistan, Pakistan and Turkmenistan have agreed to construct a $2bn pipeline to bring gas from Central Asia to the sub-continent . Now look at this map of Military and Oil .

Sen. Byrd Challenges Obama's Afghanistan Surge, the Forgotten Bin Laden
blueridge
by blueridge  10-16-2009    4
"The reason for the U.S. military mission in Afghanistan has become lost, consumed in some broader scheme of nation-building" Then point blank: "I am compelled to ask: Does it really take 100,000 U.S. troops to find Osama bin Laden? If al-Qaida has moved to Pakistan, what will these troops sent to Afghanistan add to the effort to 'defeat' al-Qaida?" Can anyone answer that, straight up? In other words, it's contrary to their own propaganda. Will Obama listen to him? : Do recall Sen. Byrd's famous "The Truth Will Emerge" speech opposing war with Iraq --which is now entirely vindicated. mark my words, the calculated intimidation that we see so often of late by the "powers that be" will only keep the loyal opposition quiet for just so long. Because eventually, like it always does, the truth will emerge. And when it does, this house of cards, built of deceit, will fall.

The Cost of War in Afghanistan -- 779 Troops, $229 Billion
blueridge
by blueridge  10-6-2009    2
Obama's war now. The economic cost of this war that has been paid by Americans as well here , along with the devaluation of the U.S. dollar and higher gas prices (inflation in all consumer goods). See also this article with this obscure fact: ECONOMIC SCENE: Afghanistan will cost US more than Iraq Funding for war in Afghanistan will eclipse Iraq for the first time in next year's budget.

8 Years Later--Osama bin Laden, Dead or Alive?
blueridge
by blueridge  9-10-2009    2
This book challenges the entire foundation of the Afghanistan war as a "war on terrorism". Can they really "not find" him? Or perhaps the real reason is here. Even FOX News reported in December 2001, Bin Laden Already Dead Only propaganda and alleged tapes have kept him "alive", but unfound, the perfect phantom enemy for perpetual war.

Conservative Op-ed: "Time to Get Out of Afghanistan", Propaganda War Starts
blueridge
by blueridge  9-5-2009    4
Note there is a neoconservative (William Kristol) reply to this op-ed below the article at source (because it scares them, really), which also proves that Obama has continued the neoconservative agenda in this "war on terrorism", whether that term is used or not. (Miraculously again, Bin Laden allegedly made a new video or post, which the MSM and Drudge also made sure you saw, while they did not link to this Op-ed of a well known conservative columnist). Conservative policy writers at Cato Institute are also calling for an end by exposing Myths about Afghanistan (here) . Myth #1: Both al Qaeda and the Taliban Are Our Mortal Enemies You can use Will's Op-ed to take action with your Congressmen (especially if republican) at Just Foreign Policy (here).

U.S. Had Close Ties to Bin Laden and Taliban Up To 9/11
blueridge
by blueridge  8-7-2009    1
This former FBI translator, from her classified work, says this: to say that since the fall of the Soviet Union we ceased all of our intimate relationship with Bin Laden and the Taliban - those things can be proven as lies, very easily, based on the information they classified in my case, because we did carry very intimate relationship with these people, and it involves Central Asia, all the way up to September 11. So bin Laden and Taliban were involved in a very close alliance with U.S. covert foreign operations long after the training of (what later became called) Al Qaeda (literally, "the data-base" of trained fighters) by the CIA to fight the Soviets in Afghanistan.....all the way up until 9/11 that is, when suddenly they became the patsies and the prey, despite their denials of knowledge or participation in foreign press , including BBC.

Obama's Afghanistan: This Surge Will Not Be Televised
blueridge
by blueridge  8-7-2009    1
and building a Burger King and Pizza Hut on a huge, growing base proves it will not be a short term surge. The economic focus and domestic health care agenda ensures this all goes unnoticed too even though IT IS COSTING AMERICANS BILLIONS OF DOLLARS AND BLOOD. This is not a war of self-defense, but continued regime-change for a new middle east, entirely consistent with the neoconservative agenda of the Bush administration. THIS IS OBAMA'S IRAQ AND VIET NAM.

Afghanistan, Obama's War; US and Russia Allies This Time
blueridge
by blueridge  7-23-2009
Irony: Russia is helping the US in this war while the original purpose of Al Qaeda (the database), trained by the CIA, was to fight Russian insurgency into Afghanistan. Remember that? Now Russia is helping the U.S. do what they originally attempted, but failed (due to the Taliban's resolve). So the U.S. has now played both sides of the fence against each other. At least Russia is consistent! (Video at source).

Obama's Afghan War Sets US Troop Death Record
blueridge
by blueridge  7-23-2009    1
But Americans yawn and approve. Why so complacent? What are "we" really fighting for there, in a foreign country that never attacked us? So that Afghan women can go to school and boys and girls can fly kites (the Bush era propaganda)? Why does Obama get a pass, but Bush did not? "Stabilization" was only necessary because of the US-led insurgency to topple the previous government, which had no connection (no hard evidence, just propaganda) to 9/11 either! Where are all the protesters against Bush's war, that Obama continues, and even has "surged" to expand?

Taleban to Attack America, Propaganda for "April Fools"
blueridge
by blueridge  3-31-2009    5
The major problem is the Taleban leader here is dead! This is really over-the-top, amazing that a "remote phone call" could be considered a credible source of news and published as such. The 35-year-old leader of Tehrik-e-Taleban Pakistan (Movement of Taleban Pakistan), made the claims after taking the highly unusual step of telephoning Western news organisations from an undisclosed location. It was him, really....back from the dead. Right! Just like the conjured up "bin Laden" tapes, the cabal of Anglo-American propagandists is trying to pull a fast one to legitimize the Bush-Obama and Britain's "war on terrorism" into Pakistan . Visit the Legitgov.org link to see the articles and case made that this is disinformation for public consumption to justify war expansion, and to re-blame Taleban for 9/11 and India attacks, while there is no hard evidence (except this phony "take responsibility" news) connecting them with any of the attacks.

Obama's Af-Pak Policy, Expanding the War on Terrorism
blueridge
by blueridge  3-27-2009
Historically democrats have always waged the world wars (i.e. Wilson, FDR) under the pretense to "make the world safe for democracy". With all the rationale and logic of hunting mosquito's with howitzers the fraudulent "war on terrorism" is being expanded , increased, both in arms and foreign aid for Pakistan (more billions). The mistake of Democrats was in limiting their criticism of unjust war only to Iraq, while Af-Pak wars also have false justifications. (Neither the Taliban nor bin Laden were involved in 9/11, and said so on BBC and Karachi Pakistan newspapers). Yet hardly a cry from the liberals and democrats? How party-loyalty makes one blind.

"Another 9/11" Being Used to Drive/Justify Obama Policy
blueridge
by blueridge  3-16-2009    1
Propaganda tactics, like "WMD claims" about Iraq, are being used to drive or justify (already preset) military agenda for a Pakistan war front. This is precisely like the same "fixing the intelligence around the policy" used for Iraq --alarmist, "apocalyptic intelligence", to justify what Obama "must do" as a CFR puppet for continuing a "war on terrorism" for global democracy. 9/11 continues to be the justification for "changing everything" and continue wars for "regime change" and more "preventive wars". Are small groups in Pakistan really a threat to Western Civilization? No one could rationally believe this paranoid propaganda. America was less afraid of the Soviet Union than this, and not one shot was fired to stop the Cold War. This is also why another "bin Laden tape" was released this last week. The American people are being prepared for more wars.

Stop the Afghanistan Surge and Quagmire
blueridge
by blueridge  3-12-2009
Afghanistan will be Obama's Iraq...unless, you demand "Change" and take action to your Congressmen here in this system from a good organization called Just Foreign Policy . This campaign as bi-partisan support with even two republicans, Walter Jones and Ron Paul endorsing it. Do not believe the Big Lie, continued by Obama that war and occupation of Afghanistan will "make America safe from terrorism", when the Taliban never attacked America, and this war only contributes to their increasing support against the US (coalition) Occupier. THIS IS A CONTINUANCE OF LIES OF A "WAR ON TERRORISM" CONSISTENT WITH THE SAME NEOCON/ISRAELI AGENDA FOR A NEW MIDDLE EAST for Global Democracy.
