 I certainly do not agree with much of what the NCAA does (although it does seem to have gotten better recently) & I absolutely disagreed with the thing for which Brand is most famous (he was the president of the University of Indiana who fired Bobby Knight), but you can only feel sorry for the man.

 I know there have been other young NFL head coaches, but most of them have moved steadily up the ladder. This guy has been a co-ordinator in name only. Given the history, I think this was a back-stab job for Gruden.

 You know, I didn't think it was possible for me to dislike UT more, but Mack Brown has managed to accomplish that. What a whiner! And it really is just them; as much as I would hate it, I would not begrudge Utah a split title.
