POPSThe Fight Back Begins Thank God, both people & institutions are starting to wake up to the fact that Big Brother is not always right.

POPSThoughts of Orwell & Shakespeare & Socialism You know - a rose by any other name, etc. The pres. swears he's not nationalizing any companies, but he wants to tell them how to pay their employees. Notice, nothing is said about this only applying to companies who've accepted bail-outs. At the very least, this is the definition of Socialism.

POPSObama Likes Basketball, Not Gridiron This is a pretty major "dis." Although the Administration has mentioned the Obama girls' spring break, most of the blogosphere seems to think it's because the Gridiron club has a strict no teleprompter rule. If such a rule exists, I tend to agree.

POPSObamarama The ones I've posted are just the ones I like best. All are fabulous & too funny!

POPSCommutations, Not Pardons In his final act of clemency, Bush released the two Border Patrol agents who were convicted in Texas of shooting a Mexican drug dealer. POPSQuestions Regarding Change - 1. I wonder how much the new Beast cost taxpayers? 2. Is it green? Bet not. Also bet "they," meaning the new Administration in favor of change didn't even give a thought to those two questions.

POPSGod Bless Them & Take Care of Their Families Have a kleenex ready before you read the full article. Then ask yourself why we never heard about this in the media when the incident actually happened almost a year ago. And, yes, that is a rhetorical question.

POPSPolitics Not the Economy I think the article misses the point completely. People are buying trucks & SUVs for the same reasons they're buying guns - they're scared of what's going to happen to these items after Jan. 20.

POPSGotta Love It This clip is from the "Black Agenda Report," the ultra-rabid "journal of African-American thought & action" which, by the way, is run by an "ex"-Black Panther. I guess they really did think the revolution had arrived.
