POPSObama gives International Police immunity from Constitution and Jurisdiction in US exempted Interpol from disclosure of archived document in response to Freedom of Information Act requests filed by U.S. citizens. Think very carefully about what you just read: Obama has given an international law enforcement organization that is accountable to no other national authority the ability to operate as it pleases within our own borders, and he has freed it from the most basic measure of official transparency and accountability, the FOIA. giving Interpol free rein to act within this country could subject U.S. military, diplomatic, and intelligence personnel to the prospect of being taken into custody and hauled before the International Criminal Court as "war criminals."

POPS7 stories Barack Obama doesn't want told Obama’s best hope of nipping bad storylines is to replace them with good ones rooted in public perceptions of his effectiveness. Hence the desperate mad rush to pass a healthcare bill ANY healtcare bill.

POPSObamaCare endorsements: What the bribe was The AARP got a financial windfall in return for its support of the healthcare bill. Over the past decade, the AARP has morphed from an advocacy group to an insurance company (through its subsidiary company). It is one of the main suppliers of Medi-gap insurance, a high-cost, privately purchased coverage that picks up where Medicare leaves off. But President Bush-43 passed the Medicare Advantage program, which offered a subsidized, lower-cost alternative to Medi-gap. Under Medicare Advantage, the elderly get all the extra coverage they need plus coordinated, well-managed care, usually by the same physician. So more than 10 million seniors went with Medicare Advantage, cutting into AARP Medi-gap revenues. Presto! Obama solved their problem. He eliminates subsidies for Medicare Advantage. The elderly will have to pay more for coverage under Medigap, but the AARP — which supposedly represents them — will make more money

POPSObama's big change: He moves America to the Right Maybe this is why Glenn Beck thought it was better that Obama got elected over McCain. McCain may have continued to "blur the lines" but with Obama in office, the difference in ideology of the Republicans is Stark and Bold... Let's hope Republicans and Conservative Independents can capitalize on it.

POPSShip of Fools: Obama's Intimates and Advisors 5. Samantha Power -- Senior Director, Multilateral Affairs, National Security Council. Ms. Power, a professor of public policy at Harvard was only seemingly thrown under the Obama campaign bus for referring to Hillary Clinton as "a monster" during the 2008 Democrat primary. In 2009 President Obama, tapped her to occupy her senior White House foreign policy position. Ms. Power, a "fierce critic of Israel,... was indisputably Barack Obama's closest foreign policy adviser during the campaign 6. Charles Freeman -- Nominated, but not confirmed, as Chairman of the (United States) National Intelligence Council - which is responsible for producing national intelligence estimates for the president and his advisors. Mr. Freeman has a distinguished résumé of long service in both the State and Defense Departments... however

POPSUnearthed! Obama's ACORN roots In Chicago, Obama had his biggest impact registering voters on the city's South Side. However, Obama's "Fight the Smears" website disputes this, saying Obama "never organized with ACORN." After completing his legal education at Harvard in 1991, Obama returned to Chicago to work on the voting project that developed directly out of a radical revolutionary strategy developed by two Columbia University sociologists in the 1960s. In what became known as the Cloward-Piven strategy, the tactic advocated a revolutionary approach to mobilizing the poor in the form of class warfare against capitalist forces viewed as exploiting labor and oppressing the poor. The Cloward-Piven strategy sought to apply the tactics of the revolutionary civil rights movement, including urban riots, to the poor as a whole, transcending interest-group politics defined by race to involve interest-group politics defined by class.

POPSSome Blacks Now Have Doubts About Obama Almost a third of blacks consider themselves conservative according to a Pew Research Center report.. Even a star like Bill Cosby incurred the wrath of the black establishment when he started talking about black families and personal responsibility. As result, he backed off and toned down his message. Recall during the campaign, candidate Obama ruffled Jesse Jackson's feathers when he spoke about personal responsibility among black males. An inadvertently "on" microphone picked up Jackson saying that he wanted to castrate Obama (not exactly in that language). these folks have always been inclined to be quiet because of the social pressures and intimidation. But this is changing. Despite slurs, intimidation, and widely reported physical attacks from union thugs, a few brave black souls have showed up at tea party protest rallies.

POPSFrom the Oval Office, Obama Orders Up His Own Union Mob He is joined by a union leader who's going to send out... Now, we know that unions... You want to talk about mobs? These Democrats that are all going berserk about the Astroturfing, you know -- and Barack Obama, he perfected Astroturfing. A community organizer cannot start bitching when communities organize, and he's bitching. They just are so dumbfounded that people are actually standing up and doing this and actually community organizing on their own without Barack Obama doing it. They can't believe it.

POPSGovernment watchdogs fear bill undermines them They remain puzzled about why Congress is moving to shift their status. “The question is: how is making someone political going to make them more independent?” said a source within the IG community. Combined with the Walpin firing, the legislation has left several IGs anxious about their positions in the Obama administration as they move forward with investigations of government waste and fraud. If the bill is enacted, there is concern in the IG community that if the IGs pushed too hard with ongoing probes, Obama would not appoint them to their current positions. “You put the two together and people get really nervous,” said the source.

POPSA Brief History of White House Thuggery
"Keep up the heat" translated into Organizing for America/Democratic National Committee attack ads on moderate Democrats who have revolted against Obamacare's high costs and expansive government powers over medical decisions. Looks like there won't be a health care beer summit anytime soon. The CBO and the Blue Dogs got off easy compared to inspectors general targeted by Team Obama goons. Former AmeriCorps inspector general Gerald Walpin was slimed as mentally incompetent ("confused" and "disoriented") after blowing the whistle on several cases of community service tax fraud, including the case of Obama crony Kevin Johnson. Johnson is the NBA star turned Sacramento mayor who ran a federally funded nonprofit group employing AmeriCorps volunteers, who were exploited to perform campaign work for Johnson and to provide personal services (car washes, errands) to Johnson and his staff. Walpin filed suit last week to get his job back -- and to defend the integrity and independence

POPSMore About Obama’s “Consigliere” But what makes the article really amazing is the way in which it demeans Obama as a way of highlighting Jarrett’s behind-the-scenes control. As for Jarrett, she bears further examination, given her control over the President. I’m delighted to see that Michelle has done precisely the “further examination” I thought so necessary. It’s just a shame that most New York Times readers will never learn (or want to learn) the whole story.

POPSGreat Comeback to Obama on Video! "Good to hear the Senator taking it to Obama and laying out all the GOP proposals that have been shot down by the Dems. Now it’s time to state why the Dems are opposed to GOP proposals, the real goal is increased power and influence for the Dem party. If they were really interested in health care for all they would seek a moderate compromise. But they’re simply not interested. They will not allow We the People to fend for ourselves because then we wouldn’t need and therefore be beholden to Democrats." "DeMint really does need to run for President! He is fantastic! He is one of the only true conservatives that have stuck to his guns through this whole debacle! Even Romney and Newt were for the bailout. DeMint wasnt."
