POPSNotes From Saul Alinsky Praising Lucifer The 1st radical who fought the establishment. What do you think of this guy. This philosophy. Might there be a take-over of a larger magnitude than we can contemplate? Might both parties be "party" to it? While most of either one is really unaware but willingly - actively allowing themselves to be led to the trough - by the scattered few really in the know.(?) Both of the last two administrations? And the upcoming one ! How about Paulson. Hasn't it really been the slow crawl away from capitalism the last 20 years that has led to this mess? (Amid cries blaming dereg. to distract us.) The taking of the people's money as they make noises about rescuing our money? And the ushering in of the next level of double-talk: CLASS WARFARE! "Rise UP" C-O-M-M-U-N-I-ty !

POPSPolitics of Charisma ~ So Third World. All this hero-worship before Mr. Obama met his first test of leadership. In reality, he was who he was, a Chicago politician who had done well by his opposition to the Iraq war. He had run a skillful campaign, and had met a Clinton machine that had run out of tricks and a McCain campaign that never understood the nature of the contest of 2008

POPSNo.2 of Fannie Five - Barney Frank Frank has consistently opposed any attempt to reform the practices at Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac. Frank has been described as “The Patron Saint of Fannie Mae”. http://www.stltoday.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=6069270 Read specific examples of Frank’s obstruction of reform here: http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,424945,00.html In 2002, shortly before accounting irregularities were exposed at both companies, Frank said, “I do not regard Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac as problems,” reported the Wall Street Journal. After the Freddie Mac accounting scandal in 2003, Frank said, “I do not think we are facing any kind of a crisis.” http://mpinkeyes.wordpress.com/2008/09/17/barney-frank-and-chuck-schumers-role-the-fannie-ma

POPSConning the Community Manipulating Us ALL. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ The Obama campaign is now distancing itself from Acorn, claiming Mr. Obama never organized with it and has nothing to do with illegal voter registration. Yet it's disingenuous to channel cash into an operation with a history of fraud and then claim you're shocked to discover reports of fraud. As with Rev. Jeremiah Wright and William Ayers, Mr. Obama was happy to associate with Acorn when it suited his purposes. But now that he's on the brink of the Presidency, he wants to disavow his ties. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ? ? ? ? When did 51% of us become so blind?

POPSNo.1 of the Fannie Five - Chris Dodd The Center for Public Integrity criticized Dodd for “being the leading advocate in the Senate on behalf of the accounting industry.” Political consultant and commentator Dick Morris wrote that Dodd had received more from accounting firm Arthur Andersen than any other Democrat and bore responsibility for trying to shield accounting firms from investor fraud liability in cases such as the Enron scandal. Arthur Anderson was forced to surrender its license to conduct CPA business in the US. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christopher_Dodd.

POPSHow Long to Shed the Illusion? <"A creature of universities and churches and nonprofit institutions, the Illinois senator, with the blessing and acquiescence of his upscale supporters, has glided past these hard distinctions. On the face of it, it must be surmised that his affluent devotees are ready to foot the bill for the new order, or are convinced that after victory the old ways will endure, and that Mr. Obama will govern from the center. It was no accident that the white working class was the last segment of the population to sign up for the Obama journey. Their hesitancy was not about race. They were men and women of practicality; they distrusted oratory, they could see through the falseness of the solidarity offered by this campaign.">
