 As the overblown market projects for RFID demand fail to materialize, acquaistions abound. Samsys runs out money and is purchased out of receivership by Sirit. ID Veloicity of Greensboro is acquire by NCR, who was brand-lableeling their software solution.

POPSBox.Net: Free, Easy 1GB FTP site

 I was recently doing work with a friend of mine. I had an installation CD I needed to get to him. Sure I could have copied and mailed, but that would have been a 2 day delay! He suggested this new site, box.net. It is a free 1GB FTP site. It has a very easy userinterface and best of all, it's free. Althougth, I feel inclined to tell everyone that there is a 5GB storage option available for $5/month. So far, I haven't needed to subscribe, but based on the rate my complimentary 1GB is filling up, it won't be long!

 Found this on page 125 of the May edition of PC Magazine. They recommend Replay AV for the application fo recroding streaming video from ABC and others. This would allow auto-recording and viewing when whenever you want - skipping the commericials( a key advantage). I'm a lost fanatic, so I am going to try this. I've also included a link for Pocket PC software
