POPSLOL! My Google Sucks Post Is Now A Google Alert! NOW, is that enough evidence that it's starting to suck, or do you need more? I'll tell you what.... If THIS clip makes the alerts TOMORROW, I'll try to put some AdSense on it and keep it rolling and post each day how much it makes me. Hilarious.

POPSSpamming StumbleUpon not Profitable! So it turns out that yes, spammers may get traffic from Stumblers when they abuse the SU system...But the joke is that Stumblers don't click ads, pay , or buy. This isn't surprising. StumbleUpon was primarily catered to geeks in the early days and the geeks are still here. Geeks aren't a good demographic for internet marketing. LoL

POPSHave we become too dependent on Google? Read the complete article at the link... Personally, I think this holds very true. As someone who runs a website which relies heavily on Google AdSense / AdWords and their other services, if one of their Google were to malfunction, it could cause a snowball effect which would be disastrous to my website... Something to think about.

POPSYahoo turns to Google. Microsoft cries foul. Very interesting move by Yahoo! They may be able to significantly increasing their earnings by integrating Google's search ads on their own site. Talk about a potential blow to microsoft. To think that they're left crying foul about this being anti-competitive after all these years is beyond ironic.

POPSGoogle acquiring Feedburner for $100m I'm a huge feedburner fan, and I trust google more than anyone else to continue what they've started. With feedburner + adsense, they should continue to provide lots of value for their users, while also creating a new advertising opportunity.

POPSThings Didn't Happen In 2007 Everybody oohed and ahed over Google's new presentation offering, but then went right on using PowerPoint. Because that's what you use for presentations, everybody knows it. Google gets an 'A' for effort and for presenting alternatives, but as Microsoft is learning with Vista, the public seems rather reluctant to change the status quo. Unless it's for Apple products, that is.

POPSGoogle shaking up pagerank I noticed my pagerank over at glitchnyc.com dropped from 5 to 4 about a month ago, but I'd just figured that was because I wasn't blogging that much there anymore.
