POPSWives of G8 leaders urged to boycott summit over 'sexist' Berlusconi The appeal to the first ladies was drawn up by for women: four academics who accused the prime minister of sexism over plans drawn up by his party, People of Freedom, to promote actresses, a former Big Brother contestant and a Miss Italy model as candidates for the European Parliament elections earlier this month. The proposal was later shelved after Mr Berlusconi's wife called it "shamelessly trashy.

POPSStarbucks ... In Italy we don't have Starbucks, I went there sometimes in London... but yet, I can't uderstand WHICH is the difference between a coffee and a Starbucks coffee. The only one that I can think is that the waiter that carries the former has a one-to-one relationship with his/her boss, who, besides, is likely to be seen behind the bar, actually MAKING the coffee. Why do modern and advanced people prefer to work for anonimous, far and mighty business giants? Let me understand, really.

POPSFINALLY BAD
As well as it has been wished by our interior minister some months ago, we finally became bad enough to consider as criminals anyone who's in Italy illegaly, to send back to Libia anyone who tries to come in Italy without any chance to be recognized as refugee, bad enough to forbid mothers to register the births of their children, bad enough to create ghost children here, in Italy, in the same cities in which we are supposed to live and to live spending money to defeat the economical crisis. The same newspaper which is celebrating such achievement (the title in the main page: FINALLY BAD) is also giving us the chance to buy the first booklet (total=15) of "BERLUCONI, JUST LIKE HE IS - Life, achievements, battles and passions of a politician who's unique in the world" (some weeks ago we learned from the most imporant journalist of one of the 3 Berlusconi's broadcasting TV companies that he's the most popular leader in the world, after him Lula in the second place, Obama being third).

POPSMy country: being a child when Silvio reigns If you're a child and you are illegally in Italy maybe your headmaster could deny you the opportunity to go to school and he could report you to the authorities. After the separate classes, after the 30% limits, here's a new idea to hate better. Last week they gave up the option about spy doctors (in italian hospitals doctors would have had the possibility to report people seeking for their help who were in italy illegally), now they try with spy headmasters.

POPSSpecial ones2 - see the comment Alessia Ravarotto is going back in Egypt, where it is her job and the father of her child. "My son loves his father, and he loves him", She said the egyptian fathers are often afraid that their foreign wives can leave for ever with their children, and that's why they often decide to take them away before. "It's a loop, someone has to put an end to it" Alessia Ravorotto thanked the present italian government for the job done to give her back her son, and the italian president of Senate, Renato Schifani, together with the egyptian president Mubarack. Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi is the owner of the daily newspaper "Il Giornale". I remember some titles: "We have to stop interracial marriages" "Marriages with foreigners last half time" "Caos about marriages with foreigners" But I must admit that they are right when they argue that "some cultures are incompatible" with mine. Their one, for example.

POPSItaly and the right to die The affair about Eluana Englaro highlighted two characteristics of today’s Italy. One is the enduring influence of the Catholic church and its teaching on the sanctity of life. THE OTHER IS ITS PRIME MINISTER'S IMPATIENCE WITHE THE RULE OF LAW.

POPSit is NOT a matter of law and order! “We would have to have as many soldiers as beautiful italian women, and I don’t think that would be possible” <- with this sentence MY premier is representing me and all my fellow citizens, therefore I guess I must consider this as OUR present position about such a global issue as IMMIGRATION... what are push and pull factors, global inequality, wars, etc if compared with great points such as feminine beauty and macho-soldiers?

POPSA spoonful of racist slogans helps the alarms go up, the right wing go up-up, the blindness go up... Just a spoonful of sugar helps this medicine go down In a most delightful way!!! Something that has nothing to do with it : In italy street prostitution became much more visible in the early 1990s with the migratory wave from Eastern European countries after the fall of the Soviet regime. Many street prostitutes are young underage girls from Western Africa and Eastern Europe who are victims of human trafficking and are in italy illegally. No soldiers against these immigrants?

POPSSlow Food: taste education, ethical buying, slow design and.... The Slow Food movement was founded by Carlo Petrini in Italy to combat fast food. It claims to preserve the cultural cuisine and the associated food plants and seeds, domestic animals, and farming within an ecoregion. It was the first established part of the broader Slow movement.
