POPSWhere is THE AMERICAN NEWS? "I can see where it's important if we're, like, beating some country in the Olympics or bombing them or, ideally, both," Grisham added. "But if some Colombian drug lord sinks a ferry full of Israeli soldiers in North Latvoania or Serbo-Malaysia, or wherever, and Americans aren't involved, what has that got to do with me?" Other respondents said they were appalled, not just by the availability of non-U.S. news, but by the way important U.S. news is reported by some of these foreign sites.

POPSIf Fox 'News' was around to Report History
Yeah it would have been HisStory! ;-) Just like it is today! :-0 ! "Fair and balanced" if one equates reading lies off a teleprompter as 'informative and equitable' ... Who loves lies? Who cherishes lies? Who finds lies comforting & pleasing? Who is the father of lies anyway? So who do liars serve? And what about those who serve up or devour lies, thereby supporting, spreading deciets like a virus ... in the traffic of lies, does it matter if one originates the deception? If they promulgate false witness, support harm of those who have been falsely accused, is that not complicity? And how can one serve God, objectively, if they love lies, spread lies, support liars... ??? I think those who play with themselves and others are unwitting dupes who decieve themselves BEFORE they decieve anyone else. Just my opinion. And they serve evil, just like every liar before them. Personally I cannot stand lies. Or liars. MSM or otherwise. Thou shalt NOT is clear... lies, false witn

POPS"Google News Gets Comments- With a Big Twist" I am surprised that a company leading in the Web 2.0 world would set up a system of commenting on the news that really lacks openness and direct interaction among readers. I clipped this from one of my favorite blogs, Mashable, that invites readers to instantly express their views on every story. Some of the most engaging interaction happens as a result and some of the most interesting insights and perspective comes from this open editorial style. As a news reader on Google, this system makes the price of engagement pretty high; I would have consider whether going through the motions of sending an email and going through an editorial review is worth the time and energy. I would much rather head to my favorite blogs that have picked up the story and comment directly on the post. What are your thoughts?

POPSMonitorThis: rss keyword feeds on steroids I'm in love. Oh yes, with a search engine, but not just any search engine. This search engine will sign me up for 22 different search engine feeds (listed below) in one click. All I had to do is enter my search term, import the .opml file into my FeedDemon and snap, signed-up to receive updates on my selected keywords from 22 different search engines, wow that was easy. I dont know about anyone else reading but I have been spending endless amounts of times signing up for keyword searches on various search engines like feedster, ice rocket, google blog search, etc. I would always dread having to do this task. But now, new client... new project... no problem
