For the former, the goal is reassurance. As Bush-era attempts to conflate bellicosity and patriotism were undermined by persistent body bags, military recruitment has become more challenging. In response, the Pentagon hopes to make prospective volunteers believe their tours of duty will be as safe as a night on the couch.

POPSYellow Submarine to be remade by Disney more: The band made a live-action cameo appearance in the final scene of the 1968 film. The new version of Yellow Submarine will be made in performance-capture 3-D, a medium explored by Zemeckis in The Polar Express, Beowulf and the forthcoming Jim Carrey vehicle A Christmas Carol. The use of 3-D technology is being touted as the future of Hollywood cinema, with James Cameron’s soon-to-be-released Avatar generating the biggest cinematic buzz of the year.

POPSNew Film Anti-Religious? I can't remember any atheist attacks on the multitude of religious based films that we've been assaulted by over the years (except possibly for the Christian porn movie, The Passion of the Christ). Now the Christian censors are frantic that the movie's tame portrayal of the books it is based on will be too watered down. Their reasoning is that with the meeker film version people will be persuaded to buy the book and that is where the real god bashing occurs. So in their warped view of reality, the film is simply a feature length commercial for the book series. It's no surprise when one realizes that the major criticism for the film and books comes from the Catholic League. A group not known for its tolerance.

POPSFirst - it was toilet computing, now - bath! Just imagine bending down to wash your toes with one hand, while the other reaches the 'buy' button after you've selected how many shares of Google to buy on fidelity.com. Practically new form of exercise. Call it 'bath yoga'.
