POPSCoalition Deaths in Iraq This is an interesting website for everyone, regardless of the side you are on. It lists all reported causalities in amazing detail. Personally, I think it's a humbling look at the cost of war and appreciate each and every life given in this conflict. We can all hope there is some good to come out of this, and that their lives were not lost in vain.

POPSSyria vows to help Iraq become stable I was a little confused about them still blaming Iraq for not doing enough to secure the borders, while they deny they are doing nothing to stop insurgents from coming into Iraq, but it is still a step towards stability in the region and less violence in Iraq

POPSVets to Gather March 17 to Protect the Wall - Vietnam Vets Momorial in Wash. DC It wasn’t the anti-war message that got their backs up so much as it was the location that activists picked to start a march to the Pentagon - the Vietnam Veterans Memorial - and what happened during an anti-war rally held Jan. 27. On that day, a small group of over-exuberant protesters spray-painted slogans on the Capitol steps. The veterans fear a repeat performance that could damage the memorial, something they say they will not allow. ======================================================= Regardless of what you think of the war in Iraq, or feel about Bush, DO NOT TAKE IT OUT on the other sacred memorials honoring past soldiers.

POPSIraqui Security Forces Order of Battle Recently the battle of order was released to the public. This is a great sign regarding how much progress they have undergone to be that much closer to self rule. Good for them!

POPSSaddam's Half Brother Hanged Monday This execution seemed to go better than Saddams in terms of no videotape yet, but apparently the wrong type rope was used and it decapitated him instead of just hanging him.

POPSTorture in Iraq under Saddam's Rule This is my last clip about conditions and life during Saddam's rule compared to the present situation. It's regarding a senate request to see evidence of the torture in Iraq. This isn't the beheading videos we've probably all heard about and maybe have seen, these are hardcore tapes that I never even heard about. Reporter Nick Schultz does an excellent job to describe the tapes to allow us to understand how horrific they are and why they are truly important for every adult to know about and watch. Forget war for oil. This is evidence enough for anyone with a speck of humanity to realize we did the right thing to free Iraq. You may not like the way we went about it, but weapons of mass destruction seem minor if you have to stomach to watch the videos. (I'm not clipping them). Do yourself a favor and read the article.

POPSLife under Saddam's Regime I have read a couple of comments recently about how much "worse" the people of Iraq are with the US there, after ousting Saddam's dictatorship. Those who believe it was just a "war for oil" seem to forget his brutality towards even his own citizens. Read the entire article for more details and figures.

POPSSaddam Hussein: Eco-Criminal Just another reminder of who this person was. SO much devastation to the region it still amazes me. I wonder why he wasn't tried for any of these atrocities.
