POPS Michael Jackson is selling his Beatles' songs

It never seemed right to me that he owned those songs. Back in the early 80s when he was becoming a megastar in his own right, Jackson cut a record with Paul McCartney, "Ebony and Ivory." At that time he asked McCartney for advise about investing his money. Paul, who owned the rights to Buddy Holly's songs, told him to invest in music catalogs. A few years later, Jackson outbid McCartney when Northern Songs was selling its Beatles collection.
